There’s a reason everyone is talking about the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington. ✨

Ultimate Ventures recently produced a private event here for 90 VIP guests, and it’s easy to see why this stunning venue is earning so many accolades.

Since its opening in 2025, the museum has been named #1 Best New Museum in America by USA TODAY 10BEST Readers' Choice Awards and one of seven World’s Most Beautiful Museums for 2026 by Prix Versailles, the only selection in the Western Hemisphere.

The architecture is stunning, the experience is powerful, and the event spaces offer something truly different for groups.

We loved bringing this evening to life in one of North Texas’ most remarkable new venues!

Farewell to a Dallas icon. ❤️

Yesterday, the doors closed for the final time at the downtown Neiman Marcus store, ending more than a century of Dallas history.

For generations, this flagship store helped define Dallas style and tradition, from its legendary holiday windows and the Zodiac Room to those famous popovers.

For Ultimate Ventures, this building holds a particularly special place in our history.

One of our earliest milestone events took place right here, when we took over the entire store for a private evening for 130 VIP guests during the return of Neiman Marcus’ legendary Fortnight celebration, that year honoring Italy.

We created a progressive experience throughout the six-story store, with Italian musicians and performers, cocktails and experiences along the way, and dinner in the Zodiac room on the sixth floor. Then came the finale: Johnny Reno appeared with his saxophone and led guests down six flights of escalators to the women’s shoe department, where Johnny Reno and the Lounge Kings, swing dancers and dance lessons turned the ground floor into a full-blown dance party.

The event went on to earn Ultimate Ventures our first event industry award, an ILEA Esprit Award. ❤️

So this farewell feels a little personal for us. Neiman Marcus was an important part of Dallas history, and we’re incredibly grateful that it was also part of ours.

The State Fair of Texas opens today, and one Texas classic has a sweet new twist! 🤠🌭

This year, Fletcher’s reimagined one of the Fair’s most iconic foods. Its Chocolate Corny Dog, winner of “Best Taste – Sweet” in the 2026 Big Tex Choice Awards, wraps milk chocolate fudge in Fletcher’s famous batter and finishes it with vanilla icing and raspberry compote.

We love that kind of creative thinking! At Ultimate Ventures, we’re always looking for the unexpected twist that makes an event feel entirely its own. And adding chocolate is always a good idea! 🤎

The World Came to Texas and Fell in Love with Barbecue 🔥

Barbecue may not have been on the World Cup schedule, but it quickly became a must-do. Over the summer, international visitors packed North Texas barbecue joints, many getting their first taste of authentic Texas barbecue and sharing some pretty priceless reactions on social media. Turns out, great barbecue might be one of our best Texas ambassadors!
