This week, I am stepping away from work and traveling to New Hampshire to honor the life of my Aunt Sue.
Aunt Sue was one of the very first people who encouraged me to pursue weddings and events. Long before Her Advocate Weddings & Events became a reality, she saw something in me and told me I should do this professionally.
She never stopped cheering me on. She always wanted to hear about my latest wedding, event, or project, and she somehow managed to make sure I had the perfect shoes and professional attire for every occasion. She took a genuine interest in what I was building and was one of my biggest supporters.
Every wedding I plan, every event I coordinate, and every milestone I help create carries a small part of the encouragement she gave me all those years ago.
This week, I’ll be spending time in a place filled with memories of her, reflecting on the impact she had on my life and the countless ways she encouraged me to dream bigger, work harder, and believe in myself.
I miss her dearly, but I am incredibly grateful for the love, support, and confidence she poured into me over the years. Her influence will continue to live on in the work I do and the lives I have the privilege of serving.
I will be out of the office through the week and will return on Monday, June 8th. Thank you for your patience, prayers, and understanding during this time.
