Schedule 15 minutes in your timeline for… absolutely nothing.

Seriously.

Quince days are FULL — hair, makeup, photos, ceremony, grand entrance, dances, dinner, cake, traditions, family photos…and approximately 47 people asking where they're supposed to be. 😂

Build a little breathing room into the schedule before the reception begins.

Those extra minutes give your quinceañera time to:
✨ Touch up her hair and makeup
✨ Drink some water
✨ Fix anything that needs fixing
✨ Take a few photos without rushing
✨ And actually soak in the fact that this is HER day

The best timeline isn't the one that crams in the most.

It's the one that gives you enough room to enjoy it. 💕

“A backyard wedding is always cheaper than booking a venue.”
👀 BUSTED.

A backyard sounds free… until you start building an event venue from scratch.
Tables. Chairs. Linens. Lighting. Restrooms. Parking. Trash. Power. Setup. Cleanup. A rain plan. And the suddenly VERY important question:
“Where are we putting 100 cars?” 😂

Can a backyard wedding be beautiful? Absolutely.

Can it be budget-friendly? Sometimes.

But “we already have the yard” does not automatically mean “we already have the venue.”

When you're comparing your options, don't just compare the rental price. Compare everything you'll need to create the event you actually want.

💍 TIP TUESDAY: Plan your reception timeline backward.
Instead of starting with, “What time should the ceremony be?” start with the moment you don’t want to rush:

✨ Your grand exit.

Once you know when you want the night to end, work backward:
🥂 How much time do you want for dancing?
🍰 When will you cut the cake?
🍽️ How long will dinner realistically take?
💃 When are first dances and toasts happening?
📸 How much time do you need for photos after the ceremony?

Working backward can quickly show you when your ceremony actually needs to begin—and keeps you from accidentally squeezing the FUN part of your reception into the last 45 minutes.

Bonus tip: Build a little breathing room into the schedule. Weddings rarely run perfectly to the minute, and they shouldn’t have to!
