🚐✨ Let’s Talk Wedding Day Transportation!

One of the most underrated parts of a smooth and stress-free wedding day is perfectly planned transportation. Whether it’s getting your bridal party to the venue and photo spots, shuttling guests, or making sure you and your partner arrive (or exit) in style—timing and coordination matter more than you think!

When transportation is planned well, everyone arrives relaxed, on time, and ready to celebrate. When it’s not… it can cause major delays and unnecessary stress. That’s why I always map out every movement down to the minute for my couples. 💗

✨ A few quick tips as you plan:

Build in buffer time. Always allow extra minutes for traffic, parking, loading, and last-minute “Wait, I forgot my bouquet!” moments.

Assign a transportation contact. Choose someone other than you to communicate with drivers and manage timing—it keeps things seamless and stress-free.

Share a clear schedule. Give your bridal party and VIPs a simple timeline so everyone knows exactly when and where to be.

I’m back!!! ✨ After almost three weeks off the ‘gram, I’ve returned from exploring some incredible National Parks with my family 🏔️🌲

Of course, I couldn’t stay away from wedding inspo for long 💌💍—I even designed a few stationery pieces inspired by the parks. First up: Grand Teton National Park 🤍

The design strays a bit from a classic invite and Save The Date, because everything about Tetons was wild!

And yes…my husband, our 1-year-old, and I had a wild encounter 🐻 We crossed paths with a black bear right after I took this picture and we left the beach on this hike!

Thankfully, he just moseyed along without giving us too much attention. The experience was humbling and I was very thankful we had done our bear research and had bear spray just in case!

✨The first look✨

Some brides love the first look, and I was absolutely one of them!!! 😍 Let me tell you why:

1️⃣ I had serious wedding jitters! ⚡ I knew that all eyes were going to be on me, and I tend to prefer being backstage, pulling the ropes. This first look allowed me to have much needed privacy with my love as all the wedding day emotions came out. Aka my happy/nervous tears🥲❤️

2️⃣ Our first look allowed us to spend more of our day together! 🕦 Because we had a late ceremony, I would have spent half of our wedding day WITHOUT my better half🫣 no thank you!!

3️⃣ More time for pictures! I had a couple locations around Columbus I wanted to take wedding pictures. 📸 Having done our first look in the early afternoon, meant we had time to go to them all, and let me tell you... Our photographer utilized all that time and we got AMAZING pictures out of it!✨🩵

4️⃣ We did our first look in the spot where we would be officially married! 🍾Being in the exact spot on that day, made me even more comfortable in the setting, so when it was time to walk the aisle, I felt like a pro because I had already done it!😎

5️⃣ I wanted to be the one to pin my fiance's boutonniere. I had accounted for every task in my wedding, and I wanted each one to be more meaningful than just a to-do. 🌸 This was my first wedding day "gift" to my husband, and my lack of pinning skills gave both of us some serious giggles 🤭 Don't worry though, I have since improved that skill 😂

I had so much fun working with this cutie bride to get the custom stationery suite and dreamy welcome mirror sign exactly how she envisioned! 🔥

The invites that started it all. 🥰

I knew I wanted every detail to be personal and meaningful for my own wedding. That's just who I've been my whole life. So of course I did my own invites. ✨

I loved every second of designing them. These pieces of cardstock would hang on my guests' fridges for the next 3 months, so I wanted them to stand out and scream "Hailey".

⏩Fast forward two years, and some of the elements that I included, like the die-cut RSVP, and the minimalist invitation are now super trendy!

Though I've learned so many design insights since then, I still love these little invitations that helped me find my wedding planning and design passion. 💌
