Glass Rooster Cannery offers cooking classes focused on the lost arts of home preserving and cooking like Grandma used to. We host private events, team building events and weddings on our sustainable farm, complete with farm-to-fork catering and cooking events. Our canned product line includes almost 200 unique flavors and can be purchased in our Country Store and other local shops in the area. Visit our arts and antiques barn, take a walk on the farm and rejuvenate yourself with some time in the country.

What a day! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out today to celebrate 15 years of Glass Rooster Cannery with us. Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, sharing food, playing games, dancing, and hearing stories from the past made this celebration truly special.
Fifteen years is a pretty amazing milestone, but the truth is, the Cannery has never really been about the building. It has always been about the people who walk through the doors and become part of our story.

Thank you for being part of that story, for 15 years, for 15 minutes, or somewhere in between. We are incredibly grateful for every visit, every class, every celebration, every friendship, and every memory.

Here's to 15 years behind us and whatever adventures come next! 🥂❤️

Apparently, being a beloved local business is a little intimidating.

We'll keep cheering for the hometown businesses that know your name, support the local ball teams, donate to school fundraisers, sponsor community events, and remember your favorite order.
Thriving communities aren't built by giant corporations, they're built one small business at a time.

Here's to Ohio's locally owned businesses! May they continue to do what they do best: serve their neighbors and make our communities stronger. ❤️

One of the greatest gifts of the past 15 years has been watching people discover something new.

We've welcomed curious beginners, experienced home preservers, families looking for a fun day together, and friends making memories one class at a time. Every visit has added another chapter to the story of the Glass Rooster Cannery.

Every face tells a story.

Some of these visitors came to learn how to can tomatoes or make jam. Others baked bread, rolled pasta, crafted soap, celebrated a special occasion, or simply stopped by to see what Glass Rooster was all about.

Some of these photos are from just a few years ago, and some go all the way back to our earliest days. Looking through them reminds us how many smiles, conversations, and friendships have filled these walls over the last 15 years.

For the past few weeks we've been looking back at 15 years of memories: construction, gardens, food, and celebrations. But none of those stories would exist without the people who made them possible.

Over the next week, we'll be sharing photos of the real heart of Glass Rooster Cannery... our visitors. ❤️

Students who learned a new skill. Families making memories together. Friends celebrating milestones. Volunteers, guests, and familiar faces who have filled our kitchen, barn, and classrooms with laughter, conversation, and community.

For the past 15 years, our party barn has been so much more than a building, it's been a place where life's biggest moments have been shared.

We've had the privilege of hosting weddings, graduation parties, corporate gatherings, family reunions, milestone birthdays, craft fairs, and even celebrations of life. Through laughter, happy tears, heartfelt toasts, and cherished memories, these walls have witnessed countless stories.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us to be part of your special moments. Looking back through these photos reminds us that while buildings are made of wood and stone, they're truly brought to life by the people who fill them.

Critters 🦋🐦🦌🕷️

Over the past 15 years, we've shared the Cannery with quite a cast of characters! From birds, butterflies, and bees to deer, cats, frogs, and even the occasional eight-legged visitor, we've enjoyed seeing all kinds of wildlife around the property.

Some have simply stopped by for a quick visit, while others have decided Glass Rooster Cannery is the perfect place to call home. We love being surrounded by nature and all the little reminders that this special place is shared with so many creatures; those with wings, two legs, four legs... and yes, even eight!

Our second week of camp was a lot of fun, and the weather was SO much cooler. Even with a rainy day on Tuesday, every day was filled with activities, fun and great food made by our campers.
