The floor story In the early stages of design, we selected a modern LVT flooring that had tones of grey & light brown that would compliment the space and reflect our brand. But then, as demo began and floors were ripped up, the construction team found beautiful hardwood floors underneath the rubble & debris! Talk about a GEM! The state historical preservation office proposed the question: Can we salvage the original floors? Well, the team went to work, and carefully worked through areas to determine if the original wood could be saved. Turns out, they could not be saved. 🙁 Our team went back to the drawing table and with the direction of the preservation office, we landed on an LVT of a skinnier plank size, that mimicked the look & feel of the original wood. We think maintaining the historical integrity of the space while tying in the modern & chic feel of our venue allows us to have the perfect blend of new & old styles!
