Ladies of Influence â¨
Sheffia Randall Dooley is an arts administrator/ educator, actress, and director serving Northeast Ohio for over 20 years. She currently holds the position of CEO and President for the Center of Arts - Inspired Learning and recently earned her Masters of Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace University (Spring 2022).
She received her undergraduate degree in theatre, minoring in music and arts administration in 1995 then went on to serve in the regional theatre industry as the Assistant Director for Community Engagement and Education at , Director of Education at , Master Teaching Artist for the Musical Theatre Project, and worked as a Teaching Artist
at several arts organizations including Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Cleveland Playhouse, Cleveland Public Theatre, and the Cleveland School of the Arts.
A proud member of Actorsâ Equity Association, Sheffia has extensive acting experience having lastly appeared as Jo Billie Massy in Sassy Mamas and a reprised role in Simply Simone as Nina Simone 4 at Karamu House. During the Pandemic, Sheffia performed in the highly acclaimed Freedom on Juneteenth virtual production at Karamu House, the Emmy nominated Awakenings: A Virtual Gala at Cleveland Public Theatre, and was the virtual host for Pride in the CLE 2021 for the LGBTQ Center.
Sheffiaâs passion lies in providing access to equitable arts education for all young people in Northeast Ohio. As a leader, her goal is to create an environment where artists new and experienced can do their very best work while learning and developing in a safe space.
