Ohio Goes to the Movies is a statewide film celebration presented as part of America 250-Ohio, bringing more than 250 free screenings and events to communities across all 88 counties. It highlights Ohio’s foundational role in the birth of motion pictures while celebrating the filmmakers, stories, and shared moviegoing experiences that continue to connect Ohioans today.

When our team learned the concept of Ohio Goes to the Movies was the vision of Stephen George and that it took over 20 years to see it come to live, it made the ex*****on of this event even more important to us.

Under the direction of Yopko Penhallurick, bringing this vision to life required assembling some of the best in the business to help realize Steve’s vision...a party in the birthplace of Thomas Edison…Milan, Ohio.

So many vendors brought their A-Game to make this live broadcast of this event possible.

The team of Hit Your Mark Productions, LLC was truly honored for the trust of Yopko Penhallurick’s Betty Weibel and Michelle Wood, and the America 250-Ohio team to launch the Ohio Goes to the Movies kickoff event!

This event launched a statewide celebration of movies showcasing Ohioans, from actors, to directors, to writers, to composers, and various locations across the state. Ohio Goes to the Movies touches 88 counties across Ohio and runs from February of 2026 all the way through October 2026.

Fresh Fest Cleveland 2025 was more than just an event, it was a movement celebrating community, culture, and sustainability right in the heart of the Kinsman neighborhood. It’s been an absolute pleasure working alongside the team from Environmental Health Watch to help them execute this annual free-to-the-public festival. Returning to Rid-All Farm & Otter Park, this year’s festival saw over 100 food and merchant vendors and was headlined by the amazing MC Lyte.
