Two weeks in a row touring wedding venues ended with the best cold brew I’ve ever had. Soleil Orange from the new coffee cafe in 417 Market in Branson. It has mocha and absolutely delicious orange foam. By request it can be served in a glass bottle that you can purchase to take home. It is also the most beautiful spot to relax.

What a 4th! Our 25th year of hosting was wonderful. Seven racks of ribs, four tri tips, two pork butts and one engagement ring! The first marriage proposal at our home and we couldn’t be happier. God always gives us hope for the future. Happy belated Independence Day!

Tricks from my Catering/Event Planning days. I bought the cutest little insulated coolers at Target. They are perfect to keep cold foods cold for all of your summer get togethers. Fill with ice or a small ice pack and place a bowl of dip, berries, chilled desserts, whipped cream or even a small container of ice cream inside. Zip close until ready to serve and serve right from the bag! And if you have a warm dip, place a hot hands warmer in a paper towel and place in the bottom. Zip close until ready to serve. Another tip: place a freezer safe bowl or container in the freezer prior to using to keep it cold even longer. I love this little melamine bowl because it’s freezer proof and fits perfectly in the cooler.
