I finally got a chance to stop by Kitchen Solutions in Clarksville. So nice to have a new place to shop. I love these buttery Cranberry Orange cookies!! I can’t wait to try her other flavors.

We just got back from a family trip with our daughter, son in law and grandsons to South Dakota. We had no idea how beautiful South Dakota is. We saw the Badlands, Black Hills State Park, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake,
Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Drive, Spearfish Canyon, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. We saw so many bison, antelope, elk, deer, mountain goats and wild donkeys. The aspens were turning gold and it was just stunning against all the massive granite rocks. It was our grandson Aedan’s idea to go and we are so happy we did.

One of my favorite hot summer day plates. Dad’s tomatoes, Boursin cheese, balsamic glaze, flaky sea salt and a baguette. The easy food is the best.

Two weeks in a row touring wedding venues ended with the best cold brew I’ve ever had. Soleil Orange from the new coffee cafe in 417 Market in Branson. It has mocha and absolutely delicious orange foam. By request it can be served in a glass bottle that you can purchase to take home. It is also the most beautiful spot to relax.

What a 4th! Our 25th year of hosting was wonderful. Seven racks of ribs, four tri tips, two pork butts and one engagement ring! The first marriage proposal at our home and we couldn’t be happier. God always gives us hope for the future. Happy belated Independence Day!
