Not sure about sprint. There 50 percent promotion is a joke. Took four hours and 9 phone calls today to attempt to open a new account for our adult son. He was switching from AT T to Sprint because mom and I have been with Sprint since 2007 with 4 lines. First US based sales rep had him with 2 lines for a good rate, lower than ATT and a 100 dollar deposit for two lines, one for him and one for his fiance. Somewhere before paying the deposit, the phone call got ( dropped ). When we called back over the next 3 - 4 hours the only people we could get on the line were in the Phillipines. Of course, they knew nothing of the pricing we were previously given. Finally, a US based sales rep said the prices were good, they would waive the activation fee and they would waive the next day shipping fee, but wanted 100 dollars PER LINE. Now the second line was free. She explained that the 100 dollars was for a equipment recover fee to cover the cost of the FREE phone. Well would I could not understand is that if the phone was and is FREE why is there a recover fee for a free phone.. So anyway, I am looking at ATT for my 4 lines of service. Instead of my son switching to sprint and sprint paying the termination fee for him leaving ATT I am going to see if ATT will pay my termination fee to come to them from Sprint. To me FREE is FREE. Like the comedian on the commercial - good riddance.
