Congratulations to Beltways on the launch of America’s first Accelerator right here at First Financial Center! 🎉

Officially unveiled today for StartupCincy Week, the innovative modular walkway was installed in just 2.5 days without construction or disruption and is designed to move people farther and faster through high-traffic spaces.

We’re excited to see Cincinnati innovation on display inside our building and proud to provide a space where new ideas can come to life.

New Art Alert 🚨
As part of the revolving art display by Art Academy of Cincinnati, a new installation is here! Photographs by renowned photographer, Cal Kowal are now available for all to see in our 5th St. Concourse (between Halls B & C entrances). You can learn more about all of our current art installations on our website, too!

Artist bio:
Cal Kowal was born in Chicago in 1944. He studied at University of Illinois-Chicago and the Illinois Institute of Technology- Institute of Design. As a conscientious objector to the war in Vietnam, he worked as a medical photographer at Evanston Hospital in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. In 1971 he became a professor of Photography at the Art Academy of Cincinnati where he eventually became the Photography Program Head until he retired in 2002. Cal has been awarded many residencies, fellowships, awards, and exhibitions all over the United States during his time as a professional artist. Today he lives and works out of his home studio in Alexandria, KY which he built with his wife/ artist Anita Douthat.

As part of Downtown Cincinnati’s Clean & Safe program, Ambassadors help create a welcoming experience for residents and visitors by providing directions, helping people navigate Downtown, assisting with safety escorts and supporting efforts to keep the area clean.

They’re a great resource for guests exploring the Convention District before, during or after an event at First Financial Center!

Our second floor looked a little more like the Serengeti this weekend. 🌿✨

We were honored to welcome Village Life Outreach Project’s Night on the Serengeti to First Financial Center for an evening celebrating 22 years of impact, connection and community.

The night brought Cincinnati and Tanzania together through entertainment, culture and a shared mission to expand access to education, healthcare and opportunity. 🌍

Thank you to Village Life Outreach Project and everyone who attended such a meaningful evening!
