You are in the right place! If you recently found out about us, we are delighted and can’t wait to cast you and meet you on set. If you recently sent us an email asking about how to become a PAID EXTRA ON CHICAGO FIRE – FOLLOW OUR PAGE TO FIND OUT WHAT WE ARE CASTING NEXT. We post every day about a future date (one to three days ahead of shooting) that we are filming.
We cast NON-SPEAKING EXTRAS – NO SET EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We cast people who are LOCAL TO CHICAGO, THE SUBURBS, OR THE SURROUNDING BORDER STATES TO IL.
Extras Pay Rate for Season 15 is $ 136.4 for 8 hours, with time and a half after 8 hours. We send a check about two weeks after filming. TO WORK AS AN EXTRA, YOU NEED A CURRENT GOVERNMENT ID, A SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, OR A CURRENT U.S. PASSPORT.
We post what the scene is that we are filming, for example, “A HOSPITAL SCENE, A MOLLY’S BAR SCENE, OUTSIDE SCENE”
We post the TYPES OF PEOPLE WE ARE SEARCHING FOR (various ages, ethnicities, or certain skills, like REAL RUNNERS for THE POLAR PLUNGE, or LITTLE KIDS for the HIGH ENERGY ADORABLE HALLOWEEN EPISODE we filmed a few seasons back…)
We ask for PEOPLE – Adults and Children (this could be you) who are available for the filming date to send a PHOTOGRAPH AND INFORMATION to our email address [email protected].
We look through all the emails for the PHOTOS and NAMES and select people to WORK A DAY OR TWO ON OUR SET. IF YOU ARE STILL AVAILABLE WHEN WE EMAIL YOU, EMAIL BACK THAT YOU CAN WORK, AND IF WE STILL NEED PEOPLE, WE WILL CAST YOU! You will receive a BOOKING EMAIL WITH THE DATE YOU WORK, A CHECK-IN #, AND A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL BACK FOR YOUR FINAL INFORMATION (The time you need to be on set and parking information – we pay for parking)
