go, this venue is a loft style brick building that sits directly on the corner of Wolcott Avenue for convenient parking and easy guest access. Beautifully simple and clean, the interior of the space features a glass storefront with floor to ceiling windows, exposed wood beams, large side windows, and a focal brick wall. Steeped in classic city charm, Space 1858 provides minimal decoration to create an empty and open area that is ready for transformation. a blank canvas waiting to be filled.

With heavy hearts Space 1858 has decided to close for events for April and May due to the rise of COVID-19 rates.

We will not be taking any bookings until we are positive we can reopen safely.

Space 1858 Reopening Update!

Space 1858 will be following all guidelines for social gatherings per the city of Chicago. We will be reopening for showings only on Monday, 6/8/20 following the Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois program.

Space 1858 will not be open for any event rentals until Chicago is in Phase 4 allowing social gatherings of 50 people or less.

Please email [email protected] or call 312-651-6619 for any questions or to set up a time to see the Space! Showings are by appointment only Monday-Friday 10AM-6PM and on the weekends depending on venue availability.
