Oh, what a night ✨ Chris & Kelsey’s wedding was an absolute dream. Not only are they the sweetest, most adorable couple, but celebrating at Beatnik made it even more unforgettable. One of my favorite city venues—between the incredible food, flawless service, and that signature bohemian vibe filled with lush greenery and vintage touches, it felt like being transported straight back to Marrakech.

Mitch and Lizzy met 10 years ago in a Spanish class at Indiana University, making this day a long-awaited celebration of a love that has grown so naturally over the years. They are two genuinely kind, easygoing people, and that warmth was felt in every moment of their day.

Their celebration was a foodie’s dream. From start to finish, the food—and the energy—never stopped flowing. After a heartfelt ceremony officiated by Lizzy’s brothers, the night unfolded into an unforgettable party.

Cocktail hour featured a stunning (and seriously delicious) charcuterie spread. Guests were then treated to tacos, burritos, elotes, chips, guacamole, salsa, and more from Antique Taco—the shrimp tacos were a standout.

Cake followed, along with a late-night snack of burgers and fries from Redhot Ranch.

And this group? They kept the dance floor packed well into the night.

Such a fun, beautiful day.

Nicole & David’s wedding day was effortlessly beautiful from beginning to end.

Their celebration took place at Chicago’s Robey Hotel, a boutique hotel and architectural masterpiece, set in the city’s bustling Wicker Park neighborhood.

The ceremony took place in the Hall, the ground level event space, followed by dinner and celebrations in the Up Room, a rooftop cocktail lounge, with stunning views of the skyline.

This day (March 14th) holds a special place in my own heart, as it is my wedding anniversary too. I’m honored to share this day with such a special couple.

Mike and Lydia didn’t just plan a wedding — they did it their way, in true Chicago style, with intention and purpose.

As a wedding coordinator, I live for couples who throw out the script and create something entirely their own. Timelines that feel personal. Menus that mean something. Moments that couldn’t belong to anyone else. I love it even more when a wedding leans fully into what makes our city great while reflecting the couple’s distinct style.

And Mike and Lydia? They understood the assignment.

I’ll be honest — when Lydia and Mike first shared their vision for their wedding day, there were a lot of moving pieces. I wasn’t entirely sure we’d be able to fit everything into the timeline. But they were unwavering in what they wanted, and I was determined to help them bring it all together.

Mission accomplished!

It all came together beautifully, and I had the best time reliving it while writing this blog post. I can’t wait for you to see it — check it out!
