The best parties have always felt a little like home 🤍

Set along the shores of Lake Michigan, this celebration took its cues from a beautifully appointed residence. The kind where every room has intention, every detail feels collected, and guests naturally settle in.

That thinking shaped every design decision. Rather than creating a traditional reception, we created an atmosphere that felt warm, familiar, and quietly sophisticated.

Together with Renny Pedersen, we layered residential-inspired architecture, custom-produced pieces, and thoughtful styling to create a space that felt as though it had always belonged there. A home, reimagined for one unforgettable evening.

A match made for the weekend.

The unofficial dress code was good company.
This gathering for Annie & Reid brought together family and personal details for the kind of evening that makes the whole weekend feel even more meaningful.

Sometimes the best way to start a celebration is simply putting everyone you love in one beautiful setting and raising a glass to what comes next 🥂 🤍

A ballroom with good bones and an even better design plan.

Three days before guests took their seats, this room looked very different.

The vision called for the romance of an evening garden party, but the approach was never about disguising the ballroom. It was about working with its history. Art Deco chandeliers remained overhead while custom flooring, architectural millwork, pleated sconces, and layers of floral gradually reshaped the room around them.

Every addition had to earn its place. Not simply because the room carried decades of architectural character, but because it also needed to welcome a guest list large enough to fill it.

What emerged felt less like a ballroom makeover and more like a room settling into a new identity for the night.

The kind of transformation that reveals itself one detail at a time.
