🎄🇺🇸 FROM ST. LOUIS TO THE U.S. CAPITOL — BIG NEWS FOR BIG DAY EVENT SERVICES! 🇺🇸🎄
We’re incredibly excited and proud to announce that Big Day Event Services has been hired to provide nationwide event logistics and on-the-road support for the 2026 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree Tour!
Even more exciting, we’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Boise Cascade, Kenworth, and the United States Department of Transportation as part of this incredible journey across America!
Every year, a Christmas tree is selected from one of our nation’s national forests and transported across the country to Washington, D.C., where it becomes the centerpiece of the holiday celebration at the United States Capitol.
AND THIS YEAR, WE GET TO BE PART OF THAT TRADITION! 🎄
🚛 THE JOURNEY BEGINS OCTOBER 26TH!
Our team will depart St. Louis and travel nearly 2,000 miles to Grangeville, Idaho, where the Christmas Tree Tour officially kicks off October 29th.
From there, our crew will spend the next several weeks traveling across the United States, supporting community celebrations and special events as the tree makes its way to our nation’s capital.
🎄 SO WHAT EXACTLY WILL BIG DAY EVENT SERVICES BE DOING?
We’ve been brought on to provide the behind-the-scenes event logistics and operational support that helps make this nationwide tour possible.
🚛 Transportation & Logistics: Transporting event supplies, equipment, and promotional materials throughout the journey.
🎪 Event Setup & Breakdown: Setting up and breaking down tents, tables, displays, and other equipment at scheduled stops.
🎁 Promotions & Giveaways: Supporting Boise Cascade and our tour partners with promotional activities and giveaways at community celebrations.
🤝 On-Site Event Support: Helping ensure each stop is organized, welcoming, and runs smoothly.
🇺🇸 Nationwide Tour Support: Traveling thousands of miles alongside this incredible American tradition, from the forests of Idaho to Washington, D.C.!

We’re especially proud to announce that Stuart and Sandy Schuchardt will be representing Big Day Event Services throughout this incredible journey!
Beginning October 26th, Stuart and Sandy will hit the road for nearly a month, traveling thousands of miles, coordinating logistics, setting up and breaking down event equipment, assisting with community celebrations, and making sure our company’s commitment to exceptional service is represented at every stop.
This is no small undertaking. It’s weeks away from home, long days, countless miles, and a tremendous amount of responsibility.
We couldn’t be prouder to have Stuart and Sandy representing Big Day Event Services on a national stage! Their dedication, hard work, and willingness to take on this adventure are exactly what make opportunities like this possible.
