This past weekend, we had the honor of coordinating a small, intimate wedding in Staunton, VA, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the mountains.
During the ceremony, the bride and groom washed each other’s feet — a powerful reflection of humility and love, inspired by Jesus washing His disciples’ feet. As Jesus said, “Like I have washed your feet, you should also wash each other’s feet.”
It was a moment that reminded everyone present what marriage is truly about — serving one another with grace, compassion, and faith. Their family and friends stood by them with such genuine support, and it was clear this couple has touched many lives through their kindness and authenticity.
Lately, I’ve felt God pulling me closer to the kind of weddings where Christ is at the center — days filled with intention, faith, and the people who matter most. Being part of moments like this one feels like exactly where I’m meant to be.
