Behind every performance is an artist, and behind every artist is a journey.

This October, we’re excited to welcome Zoe and Lydia to the stage at The Hidden Muse.

Zoe’s journey with Caroline Calouche & Co. began right here in Charlotte. She trained at Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center from ages 7–18 and performed in productions including Clara’s Trip, Star Gazer, Crossroads, The Nightingale, and NextStep. She went on to complete two years of full-time training at the San Diego Circus Center and a year at École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal. Her primary discipline is dance trapeze, along with experience across several aerial apparatuses.

Lydia is from Fort Mill and began her aerial dance training at Kelly’s School of Dance and Aerial, where she is now also a teacher. She recently completed the Charlotte Cirque & Dance Center/Caroline Calouche & Co. LaunchPad professional prep program and performed in The Nightingale and Clara Trip.

On Saturday, October 10 at 6:00 PM, you’ll have the opportunity to see these talented artists perform as part of The Hidden Muse.

The speakeasy-style evening brings together cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and live dance and circus entertainment while supporting Caroline Calouche & Co., student scholarships, and the work that brings our productions to life.

This December, experience The Three Spirits — a holiday production where the beauty of dance, the wonder of cirque, and imaginative storytelling come together on one stage.

Inspired by the spirit of A Christmas Carol, the production brings audiences into a world of breathtaking aerial performances, expressive movement, memorable characters, and holiday magic.
Whether you’re planning an evening with family, bringing the grandchildren, or simply looking for something special to experience this holiday season, The Three Spirits offers a wonderful reason to gather and enjoy live performance together.

When a cold-hearted soul is visited by three extraordinary spirits, their world cracks open in ways they never expected. Through breathtaking circus arts and dance, this electrifying holiday show reminds us what it truly means to wake up before it's too late. You can be part of history on December 12 - 14.

Plus one of our audience favorites is back! "Star Gazer" blends video projection with dance and circus arts to fly you through our solar system. Stella is a young and curious girl who gazes out her bedroom window one night wondering what it would be like to visit the other planets. Join Stella on an adventure through our solar system with this fun and exciting performance. Audiences will experience whirling dancers on rope and harness as Jupiter’s Red Eye and billowing white silks with swirling contemporary dancers as Neptune’s gusty winds.
