I don’t post pictures of myself much; this space has always felt like it belongs to the couples and the work, not to me.

But this felt like a season worth pausing on. I grew more than I anticipated — as a planner, as a business owner, and honestly as a person. I leaned on my team more than I ever have before and was reminded just how much that changes everything. There’s something really freeing about realizing you don’t have to carry it all alone to do it well.

Almost every wedding this spring came through someone who had trusted me before — past clients, past families, people sending me the ones they love most. I try not to take that lightly. It’s the kind of thing that makes you want to keep getting better.

Reflecting on a full season, a daughter growing up faster than I can keep up with, and a business that continues to surprise me. Heading into summer feeling grateful and more like myself than ever. 🤍

Aletta and Jubal have been choosing each other since high school — and after a long weekend celebrating them at Yeamans Hall, it’s easy to see why they’re so deeply loved by everyone around them.

There’s a warmth to Yeamans Hall that’s hard to put into words: grand without being showy, special without making a fuss about it. Aletta and Jubal, and honestly every single guest there this weekend, embodied exactly that. Kind, gracious, and genuinely joy-filled from start to finish.

Four days, perfect weather, and a couple who deserved every second of it.

Three years later, same family, different bride — and I couldn’t be happier about it.

The one downside of this job? You only get them once. A year of late night texts, big decisions, and becoming part of their family…and then just like that, it’s over.

But being asked back for the sister’s wedding? There’s nothing better.

We’re in Florida this weekend for G&B’s big day and I have been smiling nonstop since we landed. So many familiar faces, so many hugs. I could not be more grateful for this family and cannot wait to celebrate these two in the biggest way. Let’s go. 🥂✨

Spring wedding season is officially in full swing ✨

The next few weeks are filled with beautiful celebrations, both with our own clients and freelancing alongside some incredibly talented planners, which I always love.

Six of the next seven weekends are spent celebrating amazing couples and families, and my one weekend “off” will be hosting a baby shower for my best friend.

Around here, work and joy tend to go hand in hand, and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🤍

See you on the other side of the ”busy” season xx

When one of your favorite wedding photographers is getting married, it feels like the perfect time to share a little of the magic she creates.

Anne has a way of making anyone feel beautiful, while also blending seamlessly into whatever the day calls for, whether calm and composed or right in the middle of the party.

She’s incredibly talented, so easy to work with, and the kind of person you’re always happy to have by your side on a wedding day.

These are just a few of the moments she’s captured for my clients over the years, always thoughtful, effortless, and full of feeling.

Wishing her the most beautiful wedding weekend 🤍

I was talking with a client recently about how the most important parts of wedding planning are often the invisible ones.

Yes, the florals and lighting are stunning. But what truly makes a celebration feel effortless is the structure behind it — the logistics, the pacing, the quiet problem solving, the intentional flow.

The beauty you see is only possible because of the framework you don’t.

Signed, a logistical lover.

Your invitation suite is the very first impression your guests will have of your wedding weekend; make it count.

Before the dress, before the venue, before a single place setting is seen in person, your paper goods are telling the story. They’re setting the tone for the experience ahead - through color, typography, materials, and even how they’re worded and assembled.

So don’t skimp. Choose paper that feels like the weekend you’re inviting people into. Let the aesthetic (and the quality) match the energy, the tone, and the investment you’re making everywhere else.

Because when done well, an invitation suite isn’t just pretty, it’s a promise of what’s to come.

Sincerely, a paper loving planner 💌

2025, you were one for the books.
This year brought some of the most thoughtful clients, layered designs, and meaningful celebrations I’ve ever had the privilege to be part of. Every wedding came with its own set of challenges and every time, my team showed up with creativity, heart, and the kind of problem-solving energy that makes this work so rewarding.

There were big wins, quiet moments, lessons learned, and lots of joy along the way.

And if this season was any glimpse of what’s ahead, I can already tell: 2026 is going to be full of magic. I’m looking forward to more beauty, more growth, and more moments that remind me why I love this work so much.

The best is always yet to come.
