There are a lot of things I love about being a florist, but this might be one of the sweetest parts of my job.
My daughter’s boyfriend ordered this arrangement to celebrate six months of dating.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating flowers for family, friends, old coworkers, childhood classmates, and so many people who have been part of my life in one way or another. I love that I get a little glimpse into the moments when they’re loving on their people… Celebrating them, comforting them, surprising them, or simply reminding them how much they’re loved.
There is something incredibly intimate about being trusted with those moments. And when the person receiving the flowers happens to be someone I love, too? That’s hard to beat!
Definitely one of the coolest parts of what I get to do.

This week, our team is all hands on deck creating florals for a couple of large events. To give them our full attention, the storefront will be closed, and we will be pausing new daily delivery orders for the week.
Don’t worry. If you’ve already placed an order or have a floral subscription, everything will be fulfilled as scheduled.
We’ll be back to our normal daily deliveries next week and can’t wait to serve you again. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Prom season always brings the question… “Why are your dance corsages so expensive?” Truthfully? It’s because ours aren’t mass-produced. We design each piece individually to coordinate with the dress, jewelry, and overall vibe of the outfit. We want it to feel like the perfect accessory to complete the look. To do that, these pieces take time. A lot of time. But that extra care is exactly what makes them feel personal and special for the person wearing them.
We know there are cheaper options out there, and that’s okay!
If you’re looking for something custom-made, and created specifically for your style… that’s where the value comes in.

🌸 We’re Hiring at Fern Ridge Floral! 🌸

We’re looking for someone special to join our team. We need someone who truly enjoys bringing a little beauty into people’s lives every day.
This is a part-time position, with longer hours during holidays and event seasons.

What we’re looking for:
• Kind, cheerful, and genuinely enjoys working with people. Everyone is welcome at Fern Ridge Floral!
• Available Monday–Friday, with some weekend availability during holidays/events.
• Able to work on your feet all day.
• Able to occasionally lift 40+ lbs.
• Willing to take out garbage, sweep floors, wash buckets, sanitize coolers, and all the other “not-fun” stuff we have to do everyday.
• 18+ years old.
• Able to answer phones and work with a computer.

Experience:
Floral experience is a plus, but not required.
If you don’t have experience, we’re looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills. We also need someone that is creative, and naturally crafty!

This role is fast-paced, creative, and customer service oriented. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to jump in, work hard, and be part of something meaningful.

I’m so excited to have our daughter back at Fern Ridge Floral full time! With the growth of the shop, and large events becoming the norm, it made sense to bring her on as an “official” employee.
Audrey already knows the in’s & out’s of the daily routine, so this should (hopefully) be a smooth transition for her.
Those Dutch Bros skills won’t be wasted… we already set up a Lotus bar in the break room. 🤣
I just hope the mama-daughter dynamic is manageable. Jesus take the wheel!
