**Our story — and the beginning of Bodega by OX**
Hello Centralia,
We’re Samuel and Irene, the founders behind OX and now **Bodega by OX**, our new 21+ lounge in downtown Centralia.
Samuel grew up in Barcelona, where tapas bars are part of everyday life. They’re not just places to eat — they’re where people meet after work, share small plates, open a bottle of wine, and let conversations unfold naturally. It’s a culture built around hospitality, community, and enjoying the moment.
Years later, after working in restaurants in Spain and the United States, we found ourselves building a life here in Centralia. What started as a project to share **Spanish tapas through OX** quickly became something bigger thanks to the support of this community.
**Bodega is the next step in that journey.**
We created Bodega as a place designed for slowing down — a **21+ lounge for Spanish wines, thoughtful mocktails, and tapas meant to be shared**. A space where friends can gather, conversations can linger, and hospitality feels personal.
Opening something like this in downtown Centralia is both exciting and humbling. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the idea, encouraged us along the way, and continues to walk through our doors.
