One of the things we love most about life at The Farm at Rivendell is welcoming people around our table to share good food, meaningful conversation, and the simple beauty of slowing down together.

On July 16, I’ll be hosting The Summer Table through Ingrained Living: Functional Nutrition Therapy & Holistic Care—a thoughtfully curated midday experience for women.

Together, we’ll enjoy a seasonal meal featuring local ingredients, freshly milled homemade bread, thoughtful conversation, and gently guided moments of reflection—creating space to slow down, reconnect, and be nourished, body and soul.

As I prepare the menu, I’m especially looking forward to incorporating ingredients from local farms and makers throughout Middle Tennessee. It’s a small way to celebrate this community while sharing the hospitality of our home.

Need a dry place to ride this week? Our fully enclosed indoor arena at The Farm at Rivendell is open for haul-ins and available for those looking to ride, work horses, keep lessons going, or continue equine therapy sessions during the rainy weather.

Located in Middle Tennessee, about an hour from Nashville, Franklin, and Brentwood, our farm offers a spacious indoor riding area in a quiet country setting.

Welcome, Bernie, our first guest at the Stables at Rivendell! He is settled in well and enjoying his temporary home. Bernie is especially happy having an indoor riding arena to exercise during this rainy weather!

If you're looking for short or long term boarding accommodations, we would love to host you and your horses at our unique equine facility. Additionally, our large indoor riding arena is the perfect place to train and ride during the cold and rainy days of the year!

We loved visiting with Joy at her farm this past summer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet her and find out about the healing power of equine therapy.

Join us the first Sunday in Nov (Nov. 3) for our Fall Open House! Free and open to the public. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. We will have photo booths where you can get pictures with a horse (donation appreciated), free demo sessions for our equine assisted therapy program, music, and fun. Bring a pot of chili or a side dish to share. Rain date is the following Sunday, Nov. 10.

Update:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of our Christmas event at The Farm at Rivendell this year. Due to some unexpected changes in our family situation, we feel it’s best to prioritize time with our loved ones this season.

This was not an easy decision to make, as we were truly looking forward to celebrating with all of you. Your support and enthusiasm have meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful for your understanding.

We hope to welcome you back to the farm in the future when the time is right. In the meantime, we wish you a peaceful and joyful holiday season filled with love and warmth.
