Another busy day at Specialty! Thanks for all the visits and all the practice!! I’ve enjoyed working on improving my skills this week. I text mom pictures and videos for criticism and either she’s tired of my shenanigans or they’re getting better because I’m getting less feedback 😂

Woods loves working at the flower shop. Especially after 3:00. You see, he’s very popular with the ballet girls that head upstairs for class after school. He anxiously awaits their arrival by the front door in hopes of a couple quick hugs! Sweet, giggly girls regularly reward his efforts!

Yall kept me busy today! We got 3 deliveries IN today! Fresh flowers, new plants, and some beautiful handmade churches. The churches light up the stained glass windows and play music. So pretty!

We also got dish gardens in with the new plants and they’re my favorite. Why are they so cute?! Is it the tiny bow or the tiny plants or the handle on the basket? Whatever. I love them.

We also sent a few deliveries out!

🚨 Temporary Management Change! 🚨

Vanessa is having surgery this week, which means she’ll be taking a well-deserved break from the flower shop for about a week to recover.

Unfortunately for all of you… that means the B Team (me, Allison) is officially in charge. 😂

Don’t worry—I know enough to keep the lights on, answer the phone, and make sure nobody accidentally waters the fake plants. I can absolutely make fresh floral arrangements, but let’s all agree they may not quite meet Vanessa’s “perfectionist florist” standards. If your bow isn’t at a perfect 37-degree angle, you’ll know why.

The good news? We still have all of your favorites:

🌸 Beautiful pre-made silk arrangements
🧸 Cozy throws
🎁 Gifts
💐 And fresh flowers made with lots of love (and maybe a little extra caffeine).

Please be patient with me while I do my best to keep things running until the real MVP gets back. Most importantly, we’d love for you to keep Vanessa in your prayers and send lots of healing thoughts her way as she recovers.

We can’t wait to have the A Team back soon. ❤️
