No pressure. No audition. Just musicians and music lovers getting together for a good time.

Last night, The David Tyler Band traveled from Douglas, Wyoming, to perform at R³ Sound Stage—and what a wonderful show they gave us.

Traveling with their wives and children, they brought a true family spirit to the evening. Their mix of folk, Americana, bluegrass and soft rock offered something for every age. They played beautifully, and the small audience who joined us loved every minute of it. More than one person looked around and asked the same question we did:

“Why isn’t this place full?”

That is a fair question.

R³ Sound Stage was created to be a nighttime destination where the entire family can enjoy a great dinner, live entertainment and an evening out together—without leaving the children behind.

Kids 15 and under are always admitted FREE.
Kids always eat FREE.
We provide toys for the little ones, snacks with Mom’s permission and a comfortable place where parents can sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Sometimes it seems necessary to remind everyone: R³ Sound Stage is not a bar.

Yes, we offer cold beer and Clubtails for adults, but drunken or disruptive behavior is never permitted. We are a clean, safe and welcoming live-entertainment venue promoting local musicians as well as talented traveling bands.

This is the kind of family-friendly place people often say they wish their community had.

Well, Buffalo—you do have it.

We bring the bands. We prepare the dinner. We welcome the children. We keep our prices affordable. We do everything possible to create a memorable evening for the entire family.

All we need is for families to walk through the door and enjoy it.

Thank you to The David Tyler Band for traveling to Lake DeSmet and giving those of us who attended such a special evening. You deserved a full house, and we hope to welcome you back to one someday.
