The Buffalo State Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is proud to spotlight Onice Castro of Coach & Assist LLC, who recently achieved her certification through New York State.

Onice Castro, known professionally as Coach Onyx, is a passionate life coach, educator, and motivational speaker. With a deep commitment to holistic personal and professional development, she empowers individuals to thrive through clarity, self-awareness, and actionable strategies.

Coach & Assist LLC specializes in personal and professional development through tailored coaching, wellness programs, and educational workshops. Through these services, Coach & Assist LLC fosters transformation, resilience, and lifelong growth.

This year, Onice Castro set out to obtain certification to grow her business. Recognizing the complexity of the application process, she partnered with Procurement Specialist Bailey Brouillard at the SBDC for guidance.

Bailey worked closely with Onice, reviewing her application and supporting documents to ensure a smooth submission. Thanks to this collaboration, Onice successfully submitted the application and received certification!

Reflecting on the experience, Onice shared:
