Some moments stop you in your tracks—in the best, most human way. 🤍

Today, a dear guest of the inn sent me flowers after learning that we lost our sweet Tug. It absolutely undid me (in a good way). What started as a reservation, a stay, a simple hello… turned into genuine care and kindness during a really tender moment. I value the friendship we have made with Tk Kotfila. Tricia, your thoughtfulness and kindness is so appreciated❤️❤️

This business is about hospitality, yes—but more than that, it’s about connection. Over time, our guests don’t just stay here… they become part of our lives. They become friends. They celebrate our joys, and somehow, without being asked, they show up in our grief.

I’m endlessly grateful—for Tug, for the love he brought so many people, and for customers who remind me that this work is deeply personal and beautifully human. Thank you for seeing us, for caring, and for reminding me why we do what we do. 🐾💐

💔Sad Inn and Family news to report. Yesterday we lost our beloved Tug. We raced to try and save him but our efforts failed. As a family, we are gutted by his sudden departure. his job of meeting and greeting our guests was a job he both enjoyed and took seriously. 🐶Tug came into our lives 13 years ago as a pint sized black headed dog with a character that both kept us on our toes and made us laugh with his side eyeing-judgement, his intuitive wit, and generally being the goodest boy ever. I can’t begin to process the rest of my life without him, but I know I am better for being blessed as his dog mom❤️❤️❤️ My loving and faithful BFF, Tug, Tuggie, Tugs, Tuggles, Bubba, We Will MISS you forever.
