Hosts/ Founders: Kevin & Luise Sherman This page was created to share event planning details of the reprisal of the Avion Travelcade National Rally.

VISION STATEMENT: "To inspire a vibrant community of vintage Avion and Cayo enthusiasts through premier national rallies that blend technical education, lifelong camaraderie, and destination-driven exploration." These rally events are planned for every 3 years with the first to be held in September 2026 in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the first AVION travel trailer rolling off the assembly line at the Avion Corp. in Benton Harbor, MI. The founding organizers of this new national rally initiative are Kevin & Luise Sherman, proud Avion owners. They can be found at www.ThePewterPalace.com

The event will be open to all Avion owners, including any models, years, stage of restoration or preservation. People wishing to attend who do not own an Avion to bring to the rally should email the organizers for additional information on how they may attend.

Another batch of photos taken during the rally last week in Pigeon Forge! 46 Avions, 22 states, Avions from 1957 to 1990 including tomatoes, truck campers and "the whale"!! It was amazing! So many new friendships made and so many good times by all....despite super oppressive heat! Y'all were troopers (the 2 pools and lazy river in the RV resort sure helped!)

The rally may be over for this time...
But the new friendships formed and our silver beauties keep on moving forward!

Have safe journeys, and make miles of magic memories!!
