Complete with white clad iron tub, porch swing, and working wood stove, the home contains many features that reflect its cozy charm. A bubbling spring, chirping frogs, gold fish pond, cattle field, personal hiking trai

ls, and delightful wild flowers surround the property. Just steps away is a large barn where guests can entertain, complete with bar, foos ball, and a stage for those who wish to invite entertainment or put on your own show. Unique to the property is what we call ' Bulls Eye Golf' (9 tee boxes scattered around our bowl shaped valley with 1 green) A thrilling ride on the 4 wheeler will take you to each hole. Instructions provided on site. Its a Hoot! For those more traditional golf enthusiasts Red Tail is 5 mins.

Our Story

Denise & Fulton Lovin, long-time Boone residents, started White Fence Farm in 2012 when they purchased a farmhouse with over 100 acres of land out in Trade, Tennessee. The farm was their escape, and they considered it their “home away from home” here in the high country. They quickly realized the land’s potential, and after a friend had a beautiful wedding on the property they began to market it as a wedding venue AND as a vacation rental. Soon thereafter, they realized that there was a need for lodging in Boone, NC, so they purchased additional property in the heart of downtown, right on King Street. White Fence Farm began to grow, and now the business encompasses a total of three unique rental properties: the Farm, White Fence Farm Downtown Boone, and the Appalachian House. Each property offers a different experience, and we hope to have you stay with us the next time you visit the high country!

The Farm

The farm is located in the rolling hills of Tennessee on the North Carolina state line, just a 20 minute drive from downtown Boone. The 1940s farmhouse is simple and rustic, inviting guests to relax and appreciate the wonders of nature. The home has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Complete with a white clad iron tub, porch swing, and working wood stove, the home contains many features that reflect its cozy charm. On the land you’ll find a bubbling spring, chirping frogs, a goldfish pond, cattle field, personal hiking trails, and delightful wildflowers. Just steps away from the farmhouse is a large barn complete with a bar and stage for those who wish to invite entertainment or put on their own show. The farm doubles as wedding/event venue and a vacation rental. On property you’ll find several vintage Airstream campers that have been remodeled and function as additional rentals!
