Boiling Spring Lakes Special Events The Special Events Committee coordinates and hosts many seasonal events for all ages! The kids will enjoy making crafts and decorating their own cookies!

The City of Boiling Spring Lakes continues to grow with the number of families residing in the area, the Special Events Committee coordinates and hosts many seasonal events for all ages! To kick things off, theEggstrvaganza is held in April with an Easter Egg Hunt, the Easter bunny, and games and crafts at Spring Lake Park on Pine Road. Next up is the traditional Spring Fling at the Lakes, held in

May, which provides entertainment, vendors, children's games, food and fun for the whole family. Everyone enjoys live music so bring your lawn chair to Spring Lake Park in June for the Battle of the Bands event and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon listening to local musicians, great family fun and as always, really good food! Through the months of August to December, the Committee hosts the Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament held at The Lakes Golf Course, the 9/11 Memorial Bike Run, Fall Festival & Haunted Hayride. To conclude our productive year, you will not want to miss the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa Parade and Festival at City Hall. Ok fans here's the plan for the parade make up...

Tuesday the 9th, we will be driving Santa around the north end of the city. Starting around 6pm, Crews will be traveling around Frink Lake Dr and onto E. Boiling Spring Rd, around the areas on that side of the tracks, crossing the tracks and down Redwood to Juniper, and then around these neighborhoods to Spring Lake Park, where they will stop with Santa for roughly 45 minutes for pictures and visits with Santa.

Thursday the 11th will be the S Shore area, with a stop around the golf course for the Santa visit, and the Tuesday the 16th we will hit the south end, and stop by our station 3 on Fifty Lakes Dr for visits with Santa. We will remind everyone of the other nights as they approach.

During the Santa tours, you will see and hear the fire trucks coming around through the neighborhood. Unless we all converge on yours or your neighbors house all turned out and carrying tools, then this is likely what you are seeing and hearing. We look forward to being able to es**rt Santa around the city since we had to cancel the parade. Santa didn't want to have to get his suit all dried and cleaned after that. So he is hopeful after coordinating with the chief that this will be a good makeup for all the kiddos in the city.

After the tree lighting at the old police station.. we will then walk over to the old FD and start and load the fire trucks for the parade!
The parade will end at the NEW FD where we will have hot cocoa, crafts, cookies, Santa and the library committee will be reading books to the children.
Parents, you will pick up your children at the NEW FD after the parade!
I hope you understand since this is the 1st year celebrating at the new FD. Come out and have a great time 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎄please share with your friends !

Our Story

Next up is the traditional Spring Fling at the Lakes, held in May, which provides entertainment, vendors, children's games, food and fun for the whole family.
