It is time to reveal our 2025 Corn Maze Design! ❤️

Have you ever heard the term “blue-collar” worker? Chances are, you have…because we are blessed with many of these businesses right here in beautiful East Tennessee!

This year we are helping JA Street General Contractors celebrate 40 years in the business! Jim Street has built an incredible company and his success is no surprise! This company actually holds a special place in my heart because my daddy, 3 older brothers, husband, son-in-law, nephews and some of my dearest friends have been employed here for many years! I even worked there as a job site administrative assistant when I was just entering the work force as a young woman.

A blue-collar worker performs physical, manual labor, often in industries like construction, manufacturing, and maintenance, wearing specialized work clothing such as durable blue denim or chambray shirts to conceal dirt and grease. Traditionally, these jobs involved hourly pay and were seen as distinct from white-collar office jobs. However, the classification is becoming more diverse, with many skilled blue-collar trades now requiring extensive training and offering strong career prospect. JA Street offers extensive training, education and opportunities to anyone wanting to learn a skilled trade. We are so blessed to have these individuals who work hard every day with their hands to make the world a better place. It isn’t easy work but it is definitely rewarding work!

So come on out on Friday, September 26th at 5pm and see if you can find your way through this very cool maze, complete with a huge crane, tall buildings and of course the American Flag! 🇺🇸

Statement from Allen Stickley, the owner of The Stickley Farm:

I am responding to a post made earlier today on social media with the Stickley name attached to it. Let me be COMPLETELY clear, I DO NOT condone and never have condoned the senseless murder of any human being. I solely own and operate this farm. None of my four sons have stake or ownership of any part of this business nor any right to speak on behalf of the farm or their political beliefs. This statement can only be attributed to the individual who made this statement who has NO AUTHORITY to speak for the farm or myself. Now, I realize this is a world of social media. Everyone is free to speak what they wish to speak. But I have worked extremely hard this past 20 years for families, friends and schoolchildren to come enjoy this farm without ever taking a political stand or addressing any of the craziness that happens in this world every day. So, for all who are speaking against my business, you clearly do not know me. Those who do know me, know that I am a kind, generous, empathetic individual who has worked hard all of my life long before the days of social media, cell phones, cyber bullying and the whole nine yards. My one and only goal is in trying to maintain a portion of the farm that has been in the family since 1939. This business has given me the opportunity to do that but even more, it has given this community the opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime. Anyone who chooses to come take advantage of this opportunity with your children, your grandchildren, your parents or any loved one, you are absolutely welcome to do so.
