Border Bash Border Bash is a free summer concert series held annually on State Street in Historic Downtown Bristol, TN/VA--The Birthplace of Country Music!

Border Bash is hosted annually by Believe in Bristol and the Cities of Bristol, TN/VA. The roving mini-fest is held twice-monthly, May through August, along the stateline in the Birthplace of Country Music’s historic Downtown Bristol, TN/VA. The free concert series has grown to include children’s activities and vendors, and much more. Border Bash takes place on the first and third Fridays, May through August.

Our 2025 Border Bash Summer Concert Series may be winding down, but the stage is still bringing the heat! Help us give a warm welcome to our final opener of the season: Randi Denton!

Randi is a dynamic artist and community advocate, best known as the lead vocalist of Indighost, a psychedelic garage rock band mixing vintage sounds with modern energy. A familiar face at regional festivals like Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, she’s also known for supporting her son, Noah Denton, bassist for Virginia Ground. In any performance one thing remains constant, her passion for music and her community shines through.

Grab your water, dancing shoes, and your favorite people, and meet us downtown at 6 pm to bring home the final night of Border Bash 2025!

The final Border Bash of 2025 is here, and we’re ready to send off the season in style. After a summer packed with unforgettable music, dancing in the streets, delicious eats, and all the vibrant energy only downtown Bristol can bring, we’ve got one more night to soak it all in.

What has been your favorite Border Bash moment this year? If you don’t know, it’s not too late to make a new favorite memory tonight.

We have loved every second of the bands rocking the stage, the vendors bringing their best, and the community showing up big under the lights. Let’s make this last one the best one. Come out, celebrate, and help us close out Border Bash 2025 the only way we know how: with joy, music, and memories that will carry us straight into next year. See you at the Downtown Center! Let's give a warm welcome to the final headliner of our 25th Anniversary Border Bash Season! Give it up for Caitlin Krisko and The Broadcast!

Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast deliver a gritty blend of rock, roots, and blues, powered by Krisko’s powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence. Since their 2021 rebrand, they've built a loyal following across the U.S. and Europe with emotionally charged performances.

Their 2024 debut EP Blueprints cemented their status in the roots-rock scene, led by the breakout single “Haunted By You,” which topped Spotify’s “Blues Ballad” playlist. The band has shared stages with Mavis Staples, Marcus King, and Margo Price, and is a regular at Floydfest’s Buffalo Mountain Jam. They've also worked with renowned producers like Eric Sarafin, Jim Scott, and members of Tedeschi Trucks Band.

Join us this Friday night at the Downtown Center to sing, dance, and close out this milestone Border Bash season in style!!

If you like your music unpredictable, joyful, and a little wild—you're going to love this. is proud to welcome a band that bends genres and brings the party every time they hit the stage. This week’s opener is The Boys!

The Boys are more than a band—they’re a mindset. Hailing from the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia, they’re a shape-shifting collective of musicians who blend bluegrass roots with everything from folk and funk to jazz and jamgrass.
