Colton and Ashlee had the most perfect day! It was exactly what I always pray for weather-wise—a light breeze, a somewhat cloudy sky, and just a sense of peace all around. Maybe because it was on a Sunday, thank you Jesus🙌🏻
They had their ceremony on their property up in Ridgeway, and it was just so special. They have an amazing view there, and I’m so happy they decided to incorporate it into their special day. There’s just something so meaningful about getting married in a place that is already a part of your story.
We came back to our place for the reception in the pavilion. We used a similar floor plan to what we used to use under the tent, and I was quickly reminded just how much I love the mixture of round and rectangular tables. It honestly warmed my heart to see it set up like that again.
Tan tablecloths with woven placemats, layered with wood charger plates and topped with sage green napkins, and everything centered around a pink runner-based centerpiece. Wood lanterns, brown vases filled with baby’s breath, our ruscus greenery, and gold votive cups brought it all together beautifully.
The day also held a very special meaning for Colton and his family—it was his grandma’s birthday. From what I gathered, she was such an integral part of all of their lives. What a beautiful way to honor her and celebrate her life while celebrating the beginning of their new life together.
Their love truly shined through yesterday as they became one. You could see it in the simple quietness of their smiles and in Colton’s constant “dipping his wife for a kiss” throughout the night. ❤️
Billy Briggs, of course, kept everyone on the dance floor as usual. Kaycee and Kinslee were serving up cold drinks from the Tipsee Trailer, and El Nopal was there serving the best dinner, made to order for each of us! Miranda Tracy made the most moist wedding cake along with some beautiful cookies, while Stefanie Findley with Carter Creek created the gorgeous bouquets and backdrop florals. It all came together so perfectly!
This type of setup is definitely one that takes a lot of stress off the couple and their families. They brought some drinks and ice, and everything else was here and ready to go for them! What a simple way to enjoy your special day without having to worry about all the little details.
We have some pretty great vendors in our area who truly love serving their clients and taking care of as many of the details as they can. It’s such a blessing to be able to work alongside people who care so much about making these days special!
Congratulations, Colton and Ashlee! Thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your special day. It was an honor to celebrate alongside you and your families.
I pray blessings over your marriage, your home, and your life together. May the Lord guide you, strengthen you, and continue to grow the love you share for one another. 🤍
