Some weddings test every part of the plan, and this one did. 👇🏻

What began as an outdoor backyard celebration for 150 guests quickly turned into a full wedding day in the middle of a monsoon! 🌧️

As the rain came down harder and the ground began to soak, our team kept moving. With umbrellas in hand, servers ran food back and forth between the kitchen and reception tents through wind, water, and a torrential downpour that hit right in the middle of entrée service. ☔

One detail that helped us tremendously was that every guest had the same entrée; chicken, which allowed service to move more smoothly in such intense conditions.

Even with the weather doing its best to complicate things, our team stayed focused on making sure guests were cared for and dinner was served as seamlessly as possible. 💯

Weddings do not always go exactly as planned, but this one was a beautiful reminder that great events are not just about the sunny moments; they are also about the teams willing to keep showing up through the storm. 💜

We loved being part of the Summer Solstice at Appleford on June 18th; a beautiful evening that brought the Appleford community together in support of the venue through such a thoughtful, seasonal celebration.

As a preferred caterer, it was an honor to help bring the culinary experience to life in a setting that felt both elegant and full of summer charm. ✨

For this event, the menu and presentation leaned into an Asian blue willow theme, with Asian-inspired dishes and custom fortune cookies that added such a memorable touch.

It was the kind of evening that reminded us how meaningful food can be when it not only serves guests, but also helps shape the atmosphere of the event.

We’re always grateful for opportunities to be part of gatherings like this; where beautiful surroundings, community, and thoughtful hospitality come together so seamlessly. 💙
