The newest Feature at Bell's Orchard. We've added a party pavilion in the area of the orchard we call White Oak Glen. Our initial cherry crop sold very quickly and has all been harvested. We will likely have another small harvest after the 4th of July and then be closed for a few weeks until the peach harvest begins in late July.

2025 U-Pick season opens with sweet cherries and pie cherries starting Wednesday, June 18.
We have Rainier or Van sweet cherries available as well as Montmorency(sour) Pie cherries. The sweet cherries are either U-Pick or Pre-Picked. Pre-Picked are only available if ordered at least 24 hours in advance of pickup. See Pre-pick order instructions below.

Montmorency Cherries-Bright red sour cherry. The most popular cherry variety for making cherry pie.

Pre-Pick Order Instructions
We are always willing to pick for you. Pre-picked cherries are in 5 pounds zip lock bags for $25/bag. To place an order just send a text to 503.313.1346 and order however many bags you need. Please order at least 24 hours before you want to pick them up. We don't keep an inventory of pre-picked fruit in our store.

The Fall Apple and Pear Seasons are Here!!

It looks like the pleasant Fall days and cool nights are here! It’s the perfect time for a Fall family outing to the Orchard.

We have Honeycrisp, Fuji, Gala and Jonagold apples as well as Moonglow, Bosc, Comice and Anjou pears.

Bring the family and have a pleasant stroll through the orchard and harvest some fruit along the way. All our trees are pruned so no ladders are required. Even the toddlers can find fruit to pick.

Sadly the U-Pick peach season has ended. HOWEVER…The Honeycrisp apple season is starting. We have trees loaded with Honeycrisp apples that are just waiting for you to come pick them. We also have Bartlett and Moonglow Pears and Gravenstein apples.

ALSO--We are open Labor Day, Monday, September 2. The weather looks to be perfect for an outing to pick fall apples and pears. We will be open 9:00AM to 2:00PM so bring the family and take a stroll through the orchard.

Gravenstein Apples, Bartlett Pears and Elberta Peaches are all available in the orchard this week .
For a very brief time each year we have Peaches, Apples and Pears all available at the same time. This week is that week. It should be very mild weather and an excellent opportunity to get beautiful tree fruit in all your favorite categories.

Veteran peaches are a favorite for both canning and fresh eating. Reliance are a nearly identical to Veterans.
Blushing star peaches are a bright red peach with white flesh. They may be the sweetest of all the peaches. They are for fresh eating but not recommended for cooked applications as the flesh becomes very soft.
The trees are loaded with peaches this year. Most lots of them are at ground level where children can help harvest. (Easy for the rest of us too!)

All u-pick peaches will be $2.25 per pound. If you purchase over 50 pounds of fruit you will receive a 10% discount. Come with your family and friends and enjoy our beautiful short orchard.

Elberta Peaches
The Elberta peaches have surprised us this year by being ready for harvest several weeks sooner than expected This peach is great for just about anything but is probably most famous as "The Queen of Canning Peaches". Freestone, Easy to Peal, Sweet taste, firm when cooked are all qualities that make it a canning favorite. They are also great frozen, dried and of course eaten fresh.

They are $2.25 per pound. We accept cash, cards and checks.

If you would like us to pick for you we will have pre-picked boxes that contain 22 peaches for $30 per box. Please text 503.313.1346 one business day before you want to pick them up and place your order.

We still have plenty of Red Haven and Hearken peaches for u-pick as well.
