Located in the heart of downtown Hillsboro, the Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center is a proud showplace for the arts and a vibrant representation of Hillsboro's commitment to culture and the arts. It houses a 200 seat performance and event theatre space, fine art and clay studios, gallery space, and beautiful outdoor grounds. The Walters offers courses and workshops in ceramics, performing

and visual arts for all ages. It is home to a diverse range of cultural offerings through our Performance Series, Gallery Season and more. Swing Dance Night is Friday, June 12 at the Walters! Start the night with a beginner-friendly Lindy Hop lesson at 7 pm, with live music at 8 pm by Rhythm Wrecker Dance Band. Known for their driving rhythms and classic swing sound, this Portland-based ensemble brings the energy of jump bluesand vintage rock n’ roll to modern audiences.

Come on your own, with a partner, or bring your whole crew—no partner required! For all ages. Tickets are $14 in advance, $16 at the door.

Community members are invited to attend a public listening session at the Hillsboro Civic Center on June 11 from 6 to 8 pm to meet the artists, help shape the mural design, and learn about the project.

Stop by the Walters for the gallery opening of Time & Place, featuring artists Jeff Jurrens, Clement Lee, and Christopher Mooney. Examining urban infrastructure and the often-unseen efforts that make urban life possible, this exhibit proposes that the city is not a backdrop, but an ongoing act built by hands and sustained by systems that rarely make it into the frame.
