Create in me
“Art” you glad you can create!” I say this with an exclamation mark! Not a question mark. You were born to create and do something powerful with your life! We are the Miller’s. Two plus two through grace and adoption. We believe our kids were created just for us with a Master Artist’s plan. You can read more of our adoption process on Beautiful Feet. Back to this Master Artist...I’m talking about God our Father! We have this hope and faith that we are sons and daughters of the Creator himself! We believe we get to live 2 lives. The one here and the one in eternity through our relationship with Jesus. I love that he was a carpenter while His days were physically on Earth...but Hasn’t He always been?! Start in Genesis and read about Creation! It’s a wild wonder! This word create means “to bring something into existence.” I have a wonder about my soul, a deeper place I go to, conversations in the air that really reach His ears...I dream here, but I dream there too. I’ve just come recently to realize that earthly things just don’t hold me...all that’s around is temporary. What is eternal? What can move my mind, and speak truth? I simply can’t do life well in any imagined way without God guiding me. Oh I need grace and more grace to be a wife of 17 years and be a happy mommy to my kids. I find outlets to express...in worship at our home church, spending time with life-giving friends, play time, date time, Word time, prayer time, family time, ART time! The thought of this new name for this page is part of a scripture out of Psalms...
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalms 51:10
I need God to keep creating in me. I need to renew my mind with the Word daily. I need to know who I am and who God created me to be while I am here a little while. My family passionately loves and serves Christ. We pray that our lives are a testimony of the Goodness of God. I’m so inspired by our Creator...you know he paints everyday...the sunrise and the sunset just because the beauty blesses us! He is Faithful. He is for you! He is painting beauty on your life. I like to think we are the paint brush and He is holding us and designing, planning, painting, picking the colors, making all things beautiful! Eric and I love to share life with others and this avenue of paint parties and classes has created relationships and new friendships and when you get together, you just feel better and inspired! Being real, laughing & listening, being serious and silly, making up words, learning from someone else, gaining confidence, and trying something new...just being together, creates something ….Join a class, book a party...Let’s watch and see God “Create in Me!”
