Taryn and Rhett’s wedding at The Olana was something else entirely.

Every detail was designed with intention, and together, they created something that felt completely immersive. A solar eclipse inspired ceremony. A Van Gogh seating chart that flowed seamlessly into a Starry Night reception. The layers, the texture, the movement, the color. It all worked together in a way that was impossible to look away from.

Even the bride’s dress carried subtle celestial details throughout, making every element of the day feel connected to the larger vision.

This was the kind of wedding where every corner you turned, there was another detail worth stopping for.

The wedding industry has its go-to destinations right now. Cabo. Aspen. Napa. Lake Como. And honestly, they’re beautiful for a reason.

But there’s a whole world of places that deserve just as much attention.

Locations that may not be flooding your Pinterest feed or trending on Instagram, but stop you completely when you experience them in person. The kind of places where the architecture, the culture, the food, the scenery, all of it, becomes woven into the celebration itself. Not just a backdrop. A part of the story.

The setting shapes how a wedding feels. And some of the most unforgettable ones happen in places guests weren’t expecting.

Those are usually the ones that stay with me longest.

Some ceremonies just stay with you forever… and this will always be one of them.

It’s one thing to work at a beautiful, iconic place like Flora Farms. But getting to plan and design a wedding there for your best friend? That’s something entirely different.

Every moment under the Cabo sky (which happens to be a favorite of mine) meant so much more because it was for them.

Watching it all come to life in a place this special was everything I love about what I do.

Already counting down the days until I’m back in Cabo this June.

The biggest reward is getting to plan for the people closest to you and shower was one of those moments.

And we got to welcome baby girl this month, Camille Kealoha (a name that carries so much meaning—Kealoha is Megan’s middle name, her mom’s too, and where “Kay” comes from in her business name).

We hosted a high tea at The Adolphus with all of her favorite people in the industry.

Stepping out of work mode for a second and just getting to celebrate her. Those are the moments that hit a little differently.

We built this from the floor up and have zero regrets.

This space came together intentionally, with each section of the tent designed to feel a little different, from the ceiling treatments to the layered prints, florals, and color throughout.
