🚲 Volunteers Needed! 🎨

This summer, Geaux Ride is bringing bicycles, art, wellness, and community engagement directly into neighborhoods throughout Baton Rouge.

We are seeking volunteers to assist with daytime programming, including:

• Learn-to-Ride sessions
• Community bike rides
• Youth bike rodeos
• Art camps
• Paint parties
• Art therapy activities
• Event support and community outreach

No special experience is required—just a willingness to serve and encourage others. Volunteers can participate once or throughout the summer.

We are especially interested in partnering with:
✔ Churches
✔ Civic organizations
✔ Student groups
✔ Corporate volunteer teams
✔ Fraternities & Sororities
✔ Community organizations
✔ Individual volunteers

Together, we can help more children learn to ride, build confidence, explore creativity, and stay active.

🚴🏾‍♂️ FREE Citywide Learn to Ride & Bike Fitment Day 🚴🏾‍♀️

Geaux Ride is hosting a FREE community bike safety and learn-to-ride event for families across Baton Rouge.

🛠️ What to Expect:
• Learn-to-ride lessons for children & adults
• Two riding sessions: 10:30 AM & 12:30 PM
• Free bike fitting, alignment, and safety checks (available all day)
• Free maintenance checks
• Helmets available for kids while supplies last

📅 Saturday, December 27
⏰ 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Fairview Baptist Church
1636 Braddock St, Baton Rouge, LA

This event is open to the public and supported by local bike clubs and community partners. No cost to attend. Just bring your bike and come ride safely into the new year!

Gear up for a festive Cinco de Mayo with Geaux Ride's special 'Bike-O De Mayo' event! Join us for an exhilarating afternoon ride from downtown to Mid-City's KOK Wings & Things. 🚴‍♂️🌮 Meet us on Sunday, May 5th at 12:30 PM, with rides starting at 1 PM and our finale at 4 PM. Return rides depart at 3 PM and 6 PM. Tickets are $20 per person. Don't miss the 'Cinco De Krawfish Market' at KOK, featuring live Zydeco music by Jeremy Fruge, delicious crawfish, and a vibrant open-air market by Local Pop Up, celebrating KOK's 1 year anniversary. A day of fun, food, and festivities awaits!
