Our mission is to present high quality, professional operatic performances showcasing internationally acclaimed talent in the hopes of culturally enriching our community, educating our school children, and providing professional performance opportunities for Louisiana artists.

Making his Opéra Louisiane debut, Brayden Guitreau is a baritone and a first-year master’s student in vocal performance at Louisiana State University.

He is actively involved in LSU Opera and choral performances, has appeared as Il Conte in Le nozze di Figaro with LSU’s Turner-Fischer Center for Opera and will appear as Mercutio in Roméo et Juliette.

Reagan Lavigne is 12 years old and in the sixth grade.

She loves to sing and participates in the Choral program with the Livingston Parish Children’s Choir.

Reagan loves being on stage and has had the opportunity to participate in several musical theater productions.

When she is not singing, she enjoys art, crochet, and spending time with her dogs Mando and Ruby.

Praised for her “lustrous, warm, and deep” sound, American mezzo-soprano Lindsay Kate Brown is quickly establishing herself on major operatic stages.

Recent highlights include performances with The Dallas Opera and the Metropolitan Opera, as well as a featured recital for the George LondonFoundation at the Morgan Library in New York City.

An accomplished singing-actor and conductor, she is equally at home in opera, concert, and recital repertoire.

Peregrine Pittman is 12 years old and is thrilled to make his debut with Opéra Louisiane.

A seventh grader at Sherwood Magnet, he loves choir, musical theater, puzzle games, and singing.

Peregrine has performed with Theatre Baton Rouge, CYT Baton Rouge, Louisiana Youth Theatre, Playmakers, and BREC Independence Park Theatre, and is currently a member of CSPAA Stars Musical Theater Company. He participated in District IV Honor Choir 2025 and is looking forward to LMEA All State Choir in January.

He would like to thank Ms. Beth and Maestro Michael for this wonderful opportunity!

Meet the kings of Amahl and the Night Visitors!

Anthony Voiers: Zachary, Louisiana native Anthony Voiers is a tenor currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University, where he studies with Robert Grayson and Paul Groves. Recent performances include Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus, and roles with the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory and Aspen Music Festival. Upcoming engagements include serving as tenor soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and competing in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.

Chase Côté: Chase Côté is an emerging baritone currently pursuing his Master of Music at Louisiana State University, where he studies with Robert Grayson and Paul Groves. Recent performances include Count Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro, the title role in Gianni Schicchi with Art City Opera, and appearances as an emerging artist at Seagle Festival. An active competitor, he is a prizewinner in NATS and the National Society of Arts and Letters competitions and holds a Bachelor of Music from Temple University.

Joshua Thomas: Houston native bass-baritone Joshua Thomas began his musical journey singing in his home church, Petra AME. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Louisiana State University and pursued graduate studies at the University of Michigan under Stephen West. His repertoire includes roles from Mozart, Puccini, and Massenet, and he has appeared with academic and professional opera programs across the United States.
