A reminder that there is still so much beauty to see, so much to experience, and so much life waiting beyond what feels familiar.

A wedding in Italy 🇮🇹✨

From the beautiful details and tablescape to the outdoor setup by the pool… every part of this celebration was intentional.

And then came the grand finale…

🎆 FIREWORKS.

Because apparently, that’s how you end a wedding in Italy. 😂

And of course, I couldn’t leave without dessert. 🍩

One of the things I loved most about my time in Italy was getting to experience food, hospitality, celebrations, and the little details that make an event unforgettable.

My first day WORKING in Italy. 🇮🇹👩🏾‍🍳

I went straight into chef mode: mise en place, tuna tartare, mini tacos, anchovy hors d’oeuvres, and a WHOLE lot of chopping and cooking.

13 hours later… EXHAUSTED. 😂

But they fed me well, so we’re calling it a successful first day. 😌

My first night in Italy. 🇮🇹🥹✨

Sitting there alone, thousands of miles from home, trying to process that I was really here.

I had the incredible opportunity to train in a restaurant in Italy, and honestly, I didn’t have the words to describe how grateful I felt.

This was only the beginning. 🙏🏽🇮🇹✨

I finally made it to Italy. 🇮🇹🥹✨

After months of planning, preparing, praying, and wondering what this journey would hold… I was officially on Italian soil.

From the airport ✈️ to collecting my luggage 🧳, picking up my rental car 🚗, grabbing a bite to eat, and hitting the road this was the beginning of an experience I’ll never forget.

And the craziest part?

I had no idea just how much this journey would have in store for me. 🇮🇹✨

This week’s menu is giving comfort, flavor, and a little bit of luxury. ✨

🍝 Stuffed Pasta Shells
Seasoned ground beef, spinach, and cheese tucked into jumbo pasta shells, baked in marinara and served with a fresh side salad.

🍗 Tuscan Butter Chicken Breast
Tender chicken in a creamy Tuscan butter sauce with spinach and roasted tomatoes, served over mashed potatoes with haricots verts.

🐟 Miso Butter Salmon
Miso butter glazed salmon topped with sizzled scallion salsa verde, served with wild fried rice.
