Another one gone way too soon. We are saddened to hear the news that our friend and former EPS stalwart, Jon Blue, has left this world for further interstellar explorations.🚀✨

Jon joined us early in our history and was a vital member of the EPS team. He started on our site crews and worked his way up to site manager, then operations manager, and ultimately became production manager. He helped lead the team through some of our most notable events like Pachanga Festival, Blues on the Green, Austin's New Year Celebration, Trail of Lights, Carrollton Festival at the Switchyard, Doritos Stage @ SXSW, and many more memorable moments in our history. We laughed so hard together—some of the best times and tear-filled laughs came after crazy long, hard hours and ridiculous people and circumstances that only event professionals can truly understand. Where lifelong bonds are built.

Although he hasn’t worked in the event space in years, we all stayed in touch—just not enough. We revisited the photo archive to find a few shots to share. He’s now reunited with his beloved dog Koda, who’s likely right by his side again.

We will miss you, brother. Travel well, with love and light, Space Cowboy. - Everyone at EPS (past and present). 💔💙

Been many years since we last saw the band live (HORDE Tour 92-93!!!), but it felt like no time had passed! The band is bluesier and tighter than ever! Exceptional performance in front of the biggest crowd of the night!
