Corillo (koh-ree-yo) = Corillo is slang used in the Caribbean for a group of friends. It refers to a group of people with something in common; from their way of life, to the same culture and/or ideas. A 'corillo' literally means a 'small choir'. Corillo Productions started when friends Luis Matias, Elliott Figueroa and Jean Crespo decided to carry on with "The Puerto Rican Christmas Fiesta", an an

nual event that celebrates the Puerto Rican culture in Austin, Texas and has become a tradition within the community. The company is a result of combining Elliott's background as a DJ with the planning and detail-oriented personality of Luis, the knowledge and professional experience of Jean Crespo and their shared passion for their culture.
