Atlantic Station turned into a full-on Candyland for this year’s Light the Station celebration, and we loved bringing every sweet detail to life.

We built a custom balloon backdrop, produced a high-energy parade featuring incredible community groups — the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable, Stayin’ Alive Crew, and McNair High School Marching Band — and filled the streets with stilt-walking candy canes, bubble performers, and cheerful candy greeters. DJ Chicka Takai kept the crowd moving, Buddy the Elf made an appearance, and Santa lit the tree in a burst of color courtesy of our on-stage candy cannon.

It was bright, bold, and pure holiday magic — the kind of night that reminds us why Atlanta shows up for this tradition year after year.

Happy Birthday to Leigh, our Director of Sales & Design, who somehow manages to keep us laughing, keep us moving, and keep a suitcase half-packed at all times. She’s the night owl, the adventurer, and the unofficial class clown who makes even the busiest days feel lighter.

For Trial Lawyers for Justice Georgia, we turned The Biltmore Ballrooms, Atlanta into a Cirque de Soirée—a fête full of color, movement, and a little holiday magic. Oversized custom cirque posters and layered draping framed the ballroom and set the tone for a bold, theatrical night.

Guests were treated to one oh là là moment after another: a custom built “trippy” spinning photo op, a magician slipping through the crowd with close-up tricks, a stilt walker towering over the room, and an aerial hoop contortionist performing a dynamic performance that wowed the audience. We even had a branded claw machine filled with custom plushies that quickly became an instant coup de cœur.

And to cap off the night, Rick Ross hit the stage with an unforgettable performance.

A magnifique night of spectacle, energy, and pure fun—our favorite kind of holiday celebration. 🎪✨

Next, heating up our chilly season on the Ultimate Guide to Zodiac-inspired Event Themes: Sagittarius—big energy, big fun, no limits.

A Sagittarius is nearly always ready to take flight, so what better place to support their dreams of adventure than the Delta Flight Museum? At an annual award event held in this incredible space, we honored the celestial theme in each element from entering the museum along a red carpet crowned with twinkling market lights to passing through the boarding tunnel enchanted with a 40-by-6-ft. black dance floor studded with tiny lights.

Long rows of tables sparkled with hundreds of lit votives, casting their light to play off the glassware. The after party went totally galactic with an LED dance floor, mirrored disco dancers, and an out-of-this-world DJ.

FOX 5 Atlanta stopped by WM Events HQ this week to catch our team in full holiday-prep mode — design plans spread out, installs in motion, and all the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into our busiest season. The Good Day Atlanta segment has already been picked up by Yahoo News and highlighted in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and we couldn’t be more excited to share a peek at what we’re working on.

And the timing couldn’t be better — because tomorrow night we’re producing Atlantic Station’s Light the Station event, officially kicking off the season in one of the biggest ways Atlanta celebrates the holidays.

It’s going to be a very bright December.
