August brings another green gem into our birthstone series: peridot. Formed deep in the Earth's mantle, this yellow-green stone was once called the gem of the sun by ancient Egyptians and symbolizes renewal, healing, and positivity. It's a personal favorite of ours too, echoing the Echeveria Green in our own logo.

An Everglades Evening at the Georgia Aquarium.

This is what it looks like when a vision finally stands on its own. Before the doors opened at our Everglades Evening at the Georgia Aquarium, we stepped back, took it all in, and let the finished design speak for itself.

WM Events transported guests to an Everglades Evening at the Georgia Aquarium.

The best design doesn't fight the venue. It flirts with it. So we let the swamp lead and gave it a glow-up: pampas and cattails reaching for the rafters, reclaimed wood tables lit by lanterns and mercury votives, vases of thistle and anemone, and glass cloches glowing like fireflies.

WM Events designed and produced the whole scene, from a timber pavilion bar washed in string lights to a moss-and-fern living wall that pulled double duty as the photo booth. The lounge sat right up against the Ocean Voyager window, so guests kicked back on velvet sofas while Beluga Whales and Rays glided past

The WM Events team touched every last detail. Consider it the great outdoors, minus the mosquitoes.

August has exactly one birthday on our calendar, and it belongs to the one and only Aishah.

She's the reason a room full of floral stems turns into eye-catching, room-filling, head-turning centerpieces. Hand her a vision and a bucket of flowers, and she gives back art every single time. But the talent is only half of it. She's steady when things get busy, she always comes through, and she keeps the team smiling on the toughest days.

Aishah, you make our events unforgettable and our team elevated. Happy birthday to the woman who makes the magic look easy. 💐

Rory McIlroy took home his second green jacket in a row, but every guest at this Augusta celebration walked away a winner.

WM Events turned a private Augusta home into a full tournament escape, complete with poolside cocktail tables and design details pulled straight from the course itself. We stocked the shelves with vintage trunks, golf ball vignettes, and gold accents, then filled the tables with orchids, protea, and craspedia in that famous Augusta gold.

Par for the course, if you ask us.

Masters Tournament

No ocean in sight, but you would never know it.

WM Events built a full yellow beach party from the ground up, and every detail earned its place in the sun. Fringed yellow-and-white striped umbrellas, retro webbed lounge chairs, beach balls, and floats set the scene, all anchored by a showstopping backdrop wall built entirely from yellow and white swim rings. Striped runners in pool blue and sunny yellow carried the palette across every table, topped with bright florals in every shade of yellow.

Not bad for a landlocked shoreline. Now that is a Big deal.

There's initiative, and then there's Olivia. Say congrats to our Manager of Sales & Design and newest Employee of the Month, Olivia Allen, CMP. 👏

Here's the thing about Olivia: everything she does is above and beyond. She's constantly taking the initiative. Nobody asks her to go the extra mile. Nobody asks her to stay late to get everything across the finish line. Nobody asks her to look out for the whole team. She just does it, because that's who she is.

And that says everything. Olivia isn't only brilliant at the client-facing work, she genuinely cares about her people. Good at her job and good to her team at the same time, and she makes it look effortless.

We at WM Events are so grateful to have her helping elevate event design and planning here in Atlanta. Congratulations, Olivia! 🎉

Spain took the trophy, but Atlanta took the win.

This FIFA World Cup Season, our team was busy and tuned-in every second including when we turned Pemberton Place into the ultimate final watch party for VIPs and the general public alike. WM Events helped Atlanta United FC, Coca-Cola, and McDonald's bring serious futball fan energy to the pitch-side party with a full VIP lounge, an oversized 30' LED wall truss so nobody missed a second of Spain vs. Argentina, and tailgate-style food and beverage service.

The beautiful game deserves a beautiful setup, so we added petite ferns in greenery pots to keep the outdoor vibes fresh while Coca-Cola bottle centerpieces were filled with bright florals and preserved roses designed as country flags- a small salute to the tournament teams.

The WM Events team took every touch from planning to final whistle. No offside calls here.
