Last up on our Ultimate Guide to Zodiac-inspired Event Themes: Capricorn—classic, chic, and built to impress.

If Capricorns are hardworking, who better to exemplify their spirit than one of the world’s most successful athletes? We chose the Magic Johnson Soiree as the ideal event for this unstoppable goat sign. Held at The Fox Theatre, this event made the most of the venue’s timeless ballroom and balcony. We worked hard to give it a new look and feel by pairing cool blues with warm orange and gold while also honoring the building’s stone-look surfaces and architectural style.

The furniture and lounge groupings, bursting floral arrangements, designer linens, and branded elements blended to become a spectacular setting for his event held in partnership with the NMSDC.

Happy Birthday to Latoya — our Senior Event Planner & Designer who has been shaping WM Events for more than eight years with her talent, warmth, and unmistakable Sagittarius spirit. She brings intention and heart to every project, balancing creativity with a level of care that makes clients (and our team) feel truly seen.

She’s a devoted mom, an empath in the truest sense, and the kind of person who can walk into any room and instantly make it feel lighter, warmer, and more welcoming. Latoya supports, elevates, and inspires all of us — and she does it with grace, humor, and her signature spark.

Atlantic Station went full-on Candyland for Light the Station, and our parade crew delivered the sweetest show in town.

We rolled out Candyland floats, packed the streets with high-energy performers, and let DJ Chicka drive the holiday soundtrack.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Buddy the Elf lit the tree as candy cannons burst in a colorful holiday finale.

Atlantic Station turned into a full-on Candyland for this year’s Light the Station celebration, and we loved bringing every sweet detail to life.

We built a custom balloon backdrop, produced a high-energy parade featuring incredible community groups — the Seed & Feed Marching Abominable, Stayin’ Alive Crew, and McNair High School Marching Band — and filled the streets with stilt-walking candy canes, bubble performers, and cheerful candy greeters. DJ Chicka Takai kept the crowd moving, Buddy the Elf made an appearance, and Santa lit the tree in a burst of color courtesy of our on-stage candy cannon.

It was bright, bold, and pure holiday magic — the kind of night that reminds us why Atlanta shows up for this tradition year after year.

Happy Birthday to Leigh, our Director of Sales & Design, who somehow manages to keep us laughing, keep us moving, and keep a suitcase half-packed at all times. She’s the night owl, the adventurer, and the unofficial class clown who makes even the busiest days feel lighter.

For Trial Lawyers for Justice Georgia, we turned The Biltmore Ballrooms, Atlanta into a Cirque de Soirée—a fête full of color, movement, and a little holiday magic. Oversized custom cirque posters and layered draping framed the ballroom and set the tone for a bold, theatrical night.

Guests were treated to one oh là là moment after another: a custom built “trippy” spinning photo op, a magician slipping through the crowd with close-up tricks, a stilt walker towering over the room, and an aerial hoop contortionist performing a dynamic performance that wowed the audience. We even had a branded claw machine filled with custom plushies that quickly became an instant coup de cœur.

And to cap off the night, Rick Ross hit the stage with an unforgettable performance.

A magnifique night of spectacle, energy, and pure fun—our favorite kind of holiday celebration. 🎪✨
