Philadelphia doesn't need much help setting a mood — but we brought some anyway.

WM Events designed and produced a reception that leaned all the way into the city's history (and American's 250th birthday). Declaration of Independence centerpieces, brass candlesticks, a live fife and drum corps, Betsy Ross and Ben Franklin characters mingling with guests, a watercolor artist illustrating Philadelphia history tableside. But our modern colonial spin added a few surprises through the night, like an AI photobooth to turn guests into Founding Fathers and a string quartet playing alongside a fabulous DJ. Every detail intentional, every moment considered.

Our role? Make this party in the birthplace of America the part of the trip nobody stops talking about.

We don't do ordinary openings. Good thing Cosm Atlanta isn't an ordinary venue.

The Cosm Atlanta Grand Opening was everything we dreamed it would be. Three levels of elevated event design, a full ribbon cutting ceremony, décor from the entrance all the way to the afterparty deck, and1,000 ATLiens who showed up and showed out.

Cosm is a venue designed to make your jaw drop. With over 70k square feet of space anchored by a 68' diameter LED screen, our job was to make sure the design matched the moment. We designed produced, obsessed over every detail to turn this grand opening into a grand statement.

Every detail. Every touchpoint. Every moment that made this night one for the books: our favorite drumline on the custom black carpet entrance. Cosm's neighbors, Harry T. Hawk and Freddie Falcon working the crowd. A branded ice sculpture chilling champagne. Floor-to-ceiling drapery across three levels. Floral statements that stopped people mid-sentence.

Welcome to Atlanta's Centennial Yards, Cosm. We're so glad we got to set the stage.

As the summer of soccer – or football to most of the world – gets closer, around WM Events, we can’t stop thinking, talking, and debating about the sport. America's soccer future has a home — and we were on the pitch for every detail. In partnership with U.S. Soccer, we produced the grand opening of the Arthur M. Blank US Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, GA, from the stage set and AV to every floral arrangement, decor detail, and the ribbon cutting that made it official. This facility was built for the best, so anything less than a full send was never an option. Consider this one a goal from the top corner — no goalkeeper stood a chance. Sky-high standards for a landmark moment in American soccer.

June's Employee of the Month goes to someone who makes the magic happen before the magic happens. Meet Luqman Brown, our Warehouse Supervisor and the backbone of every build we bring to life. Luqman was nominated by his peers for his steady leadership, his "just tell me what you need" attitude, and the integrity he brings to every single day on the job. Always prepared, always efficient, and always showing up for every department that needs him — his work is the thread that connects our entire operation. When the production side of an event runs seamlessly, there's a good chance Luqman's fingerprints are all over it. We're so grateful to have him on the WM Events team.
