A few weeks back we were reunited for a wedding. It felt so good to be back, despite the change in landscape of weddings. It will be fall until we (hopefully) can do this again. We miss the rush, the brides and the smiles. 📷

The current gathering restrictions are set to expire on Sunday, May 31st.
Our industry needs to work quickly to make some noise to request the following actions:
Phase by phase guidelines specific to gathering numbers within weddings and events
Re-opening guidelines and protocols for weddings venues, vendors, and attendees
graciously created over 50 graphics templates with data for our use in the campaign, a small sample is included here. (Thanks Melissa!)

Nothing was going to stop Talley and Joey from making it official. Even though COVID pushed their wedding to next year, they decided to have an intimate ceremony at their original location in another state this year. When obtaining a wedding license out of state became troublesome, the couple got one in Georgia and asked their newly ordained wedding planner to marry them. To not take away from their meaningful nuptials and future celebration, we met this morning and had a little fun! The couple danced and sang “nothings going to stop us now” , exchanged ring pops and sealed with a kiss.
Love will find a way! We look forward to celebrating in a big way in 2021 with the Doctors Sharp!! Thank you for inviting me to share this with you! Special thanks to for photographing and for the awesome 80’s bouquet !

Today came up with the idea to host a virtual rally. Showing our support for the wedding industry and the future of weddings. The state of Georgia has no guidelines specific to how or when weddings can safely resume. We need answers. We need to get back to doing what we love. While the rest of the state is reopening , we are stuck in purgatory. We are planners with no plans, we are on plans X,Y,Z of some weddings with no clue of any of them can happen. We are committed to safely and slowly reopening , but the lack of protocol specific to weddings is missing. Please visit the next slide and help us raise awareness for our lawmakers!
The hospitality industry is built on the desire to serve and bring joy to others. With no clear picture of when private events can resume, our industry is being stifled both financially and with the inability to do what we love.
