This transformation marks an exciting new chapter for our venue, bringing additional square footage, a cutting-edge junior ballroom, an inviting new outdoor courtyard, and modern architectural features built to elevate the attendee experience.

Our expansion includes:

🌟An exciting new, two-story grand entryway

🌟A new, 7,200-square-foot junior ballroom

🌟11 new meeting rooms and an executive boardroom, totaling 24,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting room space with enhanced graphics and technology​

🌟A unique, 11,000-square-foot outdoor event courtyard and a separate garden, both allowing natural lighting to pe*****te interior conference room spaces

🌟New, connected parking​ with covered, all-weather access into the expanded facility

🌟Overall addition of 13,000 square feet of indoor event space

🌟Extensive renovation and facelift of existing exhibit hall, concourse, rotunda and ballroom

Baking Up Team Building in Our New Pastry Kitchen 🍪

Our team took over the new pastry kitchen at Cobb Convention Center for a hands-on workshop led by Pastry Chef Heather! Staff members got to roll up their sleeves, test out our new setup, and learn professional baking secrets from dough consistency to precision oven techniques.

Having a dedicated pastry kitchen allows us to craft scratch-made, custom desserts for all our events, and this team building event was the perfect way to bring our team together to celebrate.

We can’t wait to share the sweet results of our new pastry kitchen with you at your next event.

For over 30 years, it’s been our privilege to serve as the home venue for the nation’s largest and longest-running footwear trade show. Every year, thousands of retail buyers, top brands, and industry leaders bring an unmatched energy to our exhibition halls.

Longstanding relationships mean the world to us, and to show our appreciation our Pastry Chef, Heather, crafted a special custom chocolate-inspired stiletto dessert as a welcome gift.

Have you seen our newly renovated Exhibit Halls?

Our newly transformed Exhibit Halls set a fresh standard for event spaces. We renovated our restrooms, and more than 540 new lights have been installed to replace the previous lighting systems throughout the halls. The capabilities of the lighting controls allow for custom effects including pulsing, fading and color changing. The updated space delivers a modern backdrop tailored for Atlanta’s premier trade shows, expos, and large-scale events.

That’s a wrap on an amazing weekend with Sonic EXPO-Atlanta! ⚡️💙

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog! Beyond the epic cosplayers and artist showcase, seeing our exhibit hall transformed by this passionate community was the highlight of our week. Thank you to all the fans that made this event such a success.
