You planned the tickets. You planned who's coming. You planned what you're wearing.

Then somebody asks: "So how are we all getting to Dyersville?"

Tomorrow night the Iowa Cubs take the field at Field of Dreams. Thursday the Twins and Phillies play there. Both are the kind of night you'll talk about for years.

The drive out, the parking, the ride home in the dark on rural roads — that's the part nobody wants to own.

The largest event in Iowa. 11 days. Grandstand concerts. Rides. The best (and most creative) food you'll find anywhere in the Midwest.

If you're coming from Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, or anywhere in the Corridor — it's about a 2-hour drive to Des Moines. Gas, parking, and fighting traffic after a big day adds up fast.

Mark your calendars: the Field of Dreams game in Dyersville is happening twice this year.

MiLB: August 11 — Iowa Cubs vs. St. Paul Saints
MLB: August 13 — Minnesota Twins vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Concerts : September 4-6

Dyersville is about 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids. Parking and access around the site is notoriously limited. If you're going — plan your ride early.

We can get your group there and back, no parking nightmare, no rideshare roulette in rural Iowa at 11 PM.

Honest answer: summer is my favorite season to run this company.

Not because it's easy — it's not. Fair week, RAGBRAI, State Fair, move-in weekends, baseball in Dyersville, Concerts at the Field of Dreams. The calendar fills fast.

But I love it because every trip has a story. The family coming home from a long vacation. The college kid landing at CID for the first time. The group of friends who decided to skip the parking lot drama and just call us.

22 years in, those stories don't get old.

What a week in Eastern Iowa. 🙌

RAGBRAI wrapped up in Dubuque yesterday — 391 miles across Iowa, thousands of cyclists, and some very well-earned rest.

The Jones County Fair out in Monticello had four incredible nights of country music.

We were busy. It was good.

If you made it to RAGBRAI or the fair this week — hope it was everything you wanted. And if you needed a ride, thanks for trusting us.

Now we reset for what's coming next: Field of Dreams games August 11 and 13, Iowa State Fair August 13-23, Field of Dreams Concert Series, and Iowa Hawkeye tailgate season right around the corner.
