A Hidden River tradition: for the couple and their guests to gather several river rocks during the rheearsal.

Then, during the ceremony, after the couple exchanges rings, they use their newly blessed hands to perform their first act of teamwork: building a rock cairn. A rock cairn is an ancient tradition, built at sacred sites, stacked to mark a path so you can always find your way home.

It's a work of art that you build together. When it falls down, you just build it again. That's a great metaphor for marriage.
