IT’S A PINXTO PARTY this Thursday, August 29th! And we’ve got an exciting update…

Additional tickets are now available for this previously sold-out event at , featuring Chef and Co-Founder, Chef Silver Iocovozzi. Limited spots are available for the party, happening Thursday, August 29th from 6pm-9pm. If you have attended a Pinxto Party at La Bodega by Cúrate before, you know that this is absolutely an event that is not to be missed!

Asheville locals and beyond are familiar, no doubt, with Neng Jr.’s co-owners Cherry and Chef Silver Iocovozzi, whose groundbreaking, community-funded restaurant has been written up in publications such as Esquire, Bon Appetit, Interview Magazine, and The New York Times. Adding to their acclaim, Chef Iocovozzi was named Esquire’s Rising Star Chef in 2022, and the restaurant was a much-anticipated James Beard Foundation Finalist for Best New Restaurant in 2023.

Neng’s is - indisputably - the first of its kind in Asheville, integrating Southern roots with a Filipinx cuisine crafted through the culinary lens of a second-generation Filipinx immigrant. Chef Silver seeks to preserve global food traditions, with the goal of introducing Filipinx traditions and heritage to “those that have or have not experienced the complexities of this understated global cuisine.”

The first wave of tickets to this event originally sold out on the first day of announcement, so act quick! Click the link in our bio to claim yours!

We’re having a sweet summer here at La Bodega by Cúrate, and you’re invited to join the party! Introducing Summer of Sweets: A Dessert Pop-Up Concept by Cúrate Pastry Chef Andrew Buie.

From Wednesday, August 21st - Sunday, August 25th, participate in a prix fixe menu unlike any other event we have hosted, consisting of a four course dining experience to sweeten your senses. An optional celebratory wine pairing will also be available at the event for an additional fee.

Chef Buie has sweetened our lives for nearly ten years, now, with his innovative dessert menu and all-around passion for his craft. Buie is a reminder to our team and our guests that a wonderful, integrated pastry program makes the difference between a good meal and an incredible one, and we can stay without hesitation that he is a main pillar of why the dining experience at Cúrate stands out.

Savor a sip of Spain with us tomorrow evening, when we will be joined by ‘ Mark Lindzy from 4pm - 6pm for a sampling of small production wines and cider crafted in the spirit of tradition from the diverse soils of the Iberian Peninsula.

La Bodega by Cúrate will be offering each featured wine by the glass, or as part of a flight of three glass pours, available with an optional chef-selected pinxto pairing.

Begin your tasting with the tart and tangy taste of Arratzain Sagardo Natural Sidra, crafted with native yeast in the Usurbil mountains on the 500 year old orchards of Arratzain Inn.

Then, take a journey to the Sant Sadurní d'Anoia Village in DO Classic Penedès, where three generations of the Torello Roca family (AT Roca) are creating groundbreaking Cava from organic, indigenous Catalan grapes harvested 100% by hand, then vinified in the traditional method as a brut nature wine.

Finally, take your tastebuds on a trip East to explore the terroir of Riberia Sacra, Galicia’s slate soils, with Adegas Guimara’s refined expression of Mencia, enhanced by small percentages of traditional local grape varieties like Brancellao, Caiño, Marenzao.

No reservations are needed for this event, so stop by to take a bicoastal trip through Spanish wine country!
