Join us for our first Drum Circle and Dance Class, hosted by djembe performer Victoria Boateng and African dancer Asmina Turner!

This hour-long event will take place on Monday, August 31st at 6:30 PM, and everyone is welcome, no experience necessary!

We’ll be combining drumming and dance for a fun, interactive experience. For the first half hour, participants will split into two groups and choose between learning African dance steps or drumming rhythms in separate rooms. Then, we’ll all come together for the final half hour to bring the two together! 🥁✨

✨ New exhibition opening this weekend! ✨

Join us this Sunday, August 2nd, from 6–7:30 PM, as we celebrate the opening of “Soliloquy”, a solo exhibition by emerging artist Emma Taucher. 🎨🍦

A recent graduate of Elk Grove High School, Emma will be attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this fall to study painting. Through bold color, layered patterns, and intimate self-portraits, Soliloquy offers a glimpse into the thoughts, emotions, and inner conversations that shape her world.

Stop by to meet Emma, learn about the stories behind her work, and help us celebrate this exciting milestone in her artistic journey!

We’re thrilled to announce that Anna Labbate will be BACK and parked out front during the exhibition from 7–9 PM on May 1st. Enjoy gourmet pizza slices, grab a panini, and check out incredible local art with your friends. What’s better than that?

Kurbside Pizza’s menu features both traditional favorites and unique flavors, including a classic Margherita, the mushroom-packed Fungi, fig and pear, and Calabrian chili. Feeling thirsty? Don’t forget to grab one of their specialty drinks!

Chill out and stretch together at Mom & Me Yoga on Sunday, May 3rd at 9:00 AM! 🧘‍♀️✨ Join zenflowyoga8 and Crimson Heart Yoga at The Empty Corner for a relaxing, playful session designed especially for moms and their little ones. We’ll start with 20 minutes of separate classes, with the adults flowing through their own practice while the kids enjoy a fun, engaging yoga session. We will then come back together for a partner-style class full of movement and connection!

CALLING LOCAL ARTISTS! 🎨
 100 Under $100 is BACK — and we can’t believe it’s already our fourth year!

Join us for our exhibition featuring 100+ artworks priced at $100 or less. This popular show kicks off with an Opening Reception on Friday, May 1st, from 7–9 PM, with pieces on display all month long.

Artists can submit up to two pieces — all themes and mediums are welcome! Entry is $10 per artist, and all proceeds from sold artwork go directly back to the artist. ✨

Drop off your wired and ready-to-hang work by April 27th, and we’ll handle the rest.
