After 4 long years, I have finally made a Demo Reel from some of my work! This is something that every filmmaker should do periodically. However, we typically have important client work to create so we often forget to showcase our own work once in a while!

This is a demo reel of some of the first Live Speaker Events that I was asked to help capture, along with weddings and small business promotions. I also met some amazing videographers at a Music Video Workshop hosted by Gratitude Media, which really helped kickstart my understanding of capturing live events.

At the time these were recorded, I used whatever equipment I could borrow, so some of the clips will have different levels of quality. Regardless, my knowledge on how to use new cameras, lighting, and audio equipment has improved so much through these opportunities!

Fall Family Photoshoot Behind the Scenes: It was a beautiful day on a hiking path near Libertyville, IL. For golden hour, we decided to take family portraits on a hidden path along the Des Plaines River Trail. Typically, it is a little chaotic trying to get all the little ones to smile at the same time, but they had a lot of fun playing together. We also captured exciting sprint races against their dad!

Parish Picnic Short Story: It was a nice overcast Summer day at St. Mary of Vernon Catholic Church in Indian Creek, IL. As part of the entertainment, the parish Priests, Fr. Ignatius, Fr. Shemek, and Youth Minister Jim Welch volunteered to sit and wait for the congregation to attempt at dunking them into the water tank! The crowd lovingly hit the target, many times, sending the kind-hearted gentlemen into the cool water below!

Wedding Day Short Story: It was a beautiful Fall day at Elizabeth and Tommy's Wedding at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. For golden hour, we decided to take their bridal portraits along the 606 Trail in downtown Chicago. Historically, it was previously an elevated railway along Bloomingdale Ave, which has thus been renovated into a connected community and nature path since 2013.
